Liked: The hotel manager, Digna Mwacha, provided exceptional service. She was incredibly responsive even before we arrived—coordinating our transport and making sure everything ran smoothly when our flight was delayed. She ensured our group had clean, comfortable rooms with a private soaking pool, which was a wonderful touch. One of the most meaningful parts of our stay was a school visit that Digna helped us arrange. We brought donations and got to see an incredible program supporting local moms and kids. It was truly impactful. We also had a traditional dance performance that we had planned in advance—it was fantastic! The energy was so fun, and we even joined in. Such a joyful way to spend the evening. And the pizza from the restaurant? So good!

I absolutely loved everything here and would 100% rebook when I come back to Tanzania. Tulivu is situated in a quiet area surrounded by the most beautiful gardening work. Tropical plants are every where you turn, and provide such a serene atmosphere for a peaceful and lovely stay. This was the best accommodation I had in Moshi and even wanted to stay longer! The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, clean, and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable for me (I tend to like more firm beds, and this was it!). The pool provided a nice respite from the hot afternoons. Breakfast was great - plenty of options from fruit, pancakes, bread, hot options (vegetables, potatoes, cassava, etc.), made to order eggs, and chia seed pudding. Staff is very friendly and super helpful with anything you need. They can help arrange day trips/activities as well as transport around town. What a perfect stay here, truly 10/10. Can't wait to come back!!

My recent stay at Moshi Hostel Lodge in Kibolironi, Kilimanjaro was nothing short of extraordinary. Originally, I had only booked a shorter stay, but within a day, I realized this place was something special. I loved it so much that I decided to extend my visit—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, the location and ambiance captivated me. Nestled in a peaceful yet convenient spot near the town center, the property offered the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. Waking up to clear crisp mornings was magical, and the proximity to local markets, cafes, and key adventure spots made exploring Moshi a breeze. The host, Emmanuel, was an absolute superstar. He was always available, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. From the moment I inquired about extending my booking, Emmanuel made the process seamless, ensuring that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. His warm hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond really stood out. The space itself was stunning. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with authentic Tanzanian touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after a day of exploring or hiking, it felt like sinking into a cloud. The amenities were everything I could have asked for. The shower had great water pressure with consistent hot water. What made this stay truly exceptional was the personalized care and experiences. Emmanuel was always ready with suggestions. He even helped me discover hidden gems in the area that I wouldn’t have found on my own. His knowledge of Moshi and his genuine passion for sharing it made every activity memorable. The breakfasts were another highlight. Every morning, I woke up to a delightful spread of fresh fruits, locally baked bread, and rich Tanzanian coffee. Emmanuel’s homemade pancakes were the cherry on top—delicious and made with so much care.

A nice quiet location outside of Moshi town with good views of Kilimanjaro when the weather is right, we were lucky enough! Also very friendly staff and owners as well as tasty food on the menu at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful property and the view from the property is also great. It got me ready for my climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.

I am from New Zealand and was very impressed with the accommodation within a very well cared compound flowering bushes and flower garden. The buildings are new and very clean. You can see My Kilimanjaro over the back wall of the compound. In this area there are a lot of trees. The road in from the main road is rough but short. I was very impressed by William the owner who went out of his way to be helpful, and am happy to recommend this lodge.😊
