Beautiful sanctuary from the hurry of the city. Wonderful ocean views and easy beach access. This is a tropical paradise. Easy access to local fish market, great place to see the dhows come in and out. Huts made of sustainable materials, yet all the modern conveniences you could want. The staff is super friendly, gentle souls, and helpful and feels like rafiki (friends). They serve breakfast right on your patio and have lunch and dinner options here. We had such good food that we would just ask Malik, the chef, to "surprise us." Jamal, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He helped us arrange transportation to and from his lodge and has connections with tour companies to arrange any tour you might want to take.

I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The staff was fantastic and I left them tips in the tip box. The dinner was nice with a wonderful menu. That view from the restaurant was very much or I should say has very much adjusted my outlook on life. I am more calm these days 2 weeks on! I hope this continues or I will have to return for more good living from Royal Cliff. I also liked the fact that there were folks on hand that could arrange excursions to points all over the island.

The stay was amazing I have to stay the staff customer care was exceptional . We visited as a group with my family everyone enjoyed lots . The owner and his family were friendly and very helpful. He even helped us organised trips all around zanzibar. The breakfast was also good and diverse. We were always surprised by something different.

Fascinating book on family history available to read on site No A/C but no mosqiitos either. Charming Hugarian hostess.
