We had an incredible stay at Promised Land Lodge. it is paradise. Nice and chilled and good vibe at the bar. the staff are phenomenal. Definitely coming back again, cannot wait for the next visit. Thank you to everyone at the Lodge. We enjoyed the food, the drinks, the ocean, the service and the Lodge has so many lovely areas to relax with hammocks and loungers and a beautiful pool, lovely hot shower. And badminton court for activities. See you again soon!!

The location, right on the beach. The garden settling overlooking the sea is very relaxing where you have a perfect view of all the fishing activities. The coconut fish curry we had for dinner was excellent. All the staff are very friendly and helpful - where you felt it was more like a home and you were not just another number passing through. I liked the massage from Caroline - healing hands - very thorough. It is a nature inspired designs.

    Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional...

    Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.

    The area was great for just some time away from all the drama of the world and getting away from it all. The service is great and the staff at hand to assist. The pricing of the A La carte meals is bordering robbery though. They really should consider this and offer more food variety for long stays.

    They serve best dinner and offer good performances. The water pressure was low on some days so it was difficult to shower. Our car was not allowed to enter the gate so we had to walk a long walk to the gate in the sun.

    This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again! PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

    It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots...

    It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

    This property is wonderful, the best we have stayed in on our tour on Zanzibar. The location is stunning, watching the sea come in and out, jumping straight into the sea from the hotel was wonderful. It’s peaceful but has plenty to keep a family entertained. The food was delicious as were the cocktails. Don’t hesitate, book it!

    Salida beach has a good location 10-15mins walking distance to Kizimkazi Beach. Great staff Manka and Betty take really good care of Guests. Cleaning staff did a great Job to maintain the property. Good Breakfast options and varieties including local dishes. Great Sunset Views in the evening.
