The location was lovely, you are sat in the valley on the mountains with beautiful views all around. You are intertwined in the local culture and the people are wonderful and very friendly. Mikey went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made us feel right at home. Faki and Mary were always smiling. Great people. We came arrived as visitors and left as Friends.

The room is new, beautiful and clean. We had excellent breakfasts and dinners there every day! The staff is very kind and David is an amazing host, closed all the buses for us (from Dar to Lushoto and from Lushoto to Arusha), recommended us about the activities in the area and we even went on a day trip with him. He has a lot of connections with guides in Tanzania and he helps with what is needed (he also a guide for safari tours himself!). Very warm recommendation, we really loved staying there!

We had a lovely stay at Milemeleni! As everyone says, Jackson is wonderful and make sure you are well taken care of. The place is outside of town- a little bit of a hike- but it’s a beautiful and peaceful area. And yes, the dinners are delicious!

Really nice place in a great location. The whole family that runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. When my guide for a multi day hike I was going on wasn’t responding the family called friends and found him for me and were very gracious while I waited.
