The two sisters (Nuns) and the reception person were all superior. They helped us find a guide to go to the Ngorongoro park. Both sisters gave us tours and were especially accommodating. The meals were prepared veery well and the service was second to none. The road to the Monastery hotel was fairly short and well kept. The garden around the rooms was well kept. We have stayed in 700+ hotels over the years travelling for work and vacation and I will certainly always remember this Hotel stay as being a unique and pleasant stay. The value was phenomenal and they even prepared us a meal to go for the next day.

The view was simply fascinating. The photos would never do the view justice, believe me! There is a moment of fascination the moment you see the crater view from the your room. I don't get these moments a lot. Staff is beyond friendly, like all branches of Serena. Everything you want will be accommodated for you!

Undeniably there is a reason for the praises! Margaret is the ultimate hostess, managing a wonderful and dedicated team. Ngorogoro Caldera View is Kweli Kabisa absolutely true! Punda Malia Zebra wandering about camp, within the park, the park stepping out of your tent!!! Ngorogoro Caldera soooo close. Official entry to the park previously permitted, lovely lunch box… Big 5
