It was mostly very quiet but there are two rooms per building so peace and quiet depends on your neighbors.

We liked simply everything. Especially staff. They all were very kind, warmhearted and willing. They are trying the best to make their guests happy. They help you organise everything. Food was delicious, location perfect and environment beautiful. We can only recommend :)

Offering lake views, Manyara's Secret in Mto wa Mbu offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. On our last day, we had to get up and leave very early, everybody was on deck for check out and to pack us breakfast for the road Thank you to all the Manyara’s Secret team, we will keep great memories thanks to you

Awesome lodge, awesome people from the workers outside to the chairman of these facilities(if you're lucky enough to meet him when he just happens to visit any of the many facilities they own, while you're there), the food was incredible, I always had a vegetarian meal available daily- be it in house dining or a packed lunch for the parks/safari. Love the fresh flowers on my bed daily. Always looked forward to going to my room to see what they've designed on my bed with fresh flowers (from the gardens at the facilities). The mosquito net design around your bed, in fact the entire room was just incredible - your own little suite with a fireplace, 2 showers inside, one outdoor, a large tub double sinks, chairs/lounger inside and an incredible view of The Valley from your patio where you can also view the sunrise every morning

The staff was extremly helpful, I was suprised. For that low budget it was a very nice Location in the middle of the town, you could easily walk around and look at some shops, there were campers on the lawn in front of our rooms every night, but we did not hear much, when they left early in the morning. I can definitely recommend the place especially in comparison with the overpriced lodges around with stressed staff. You can do day tours easily to at least 2 National Parks from there, what we did.
