Genuinely a fantastic hotel! Everything was exactly like in the photos; a cosy boutique hotel, friendly atmosphere, within a few mins walking distance to a sandy white beach coated with a coral blue ocean. The amenities and rooms were cleaned daily, the breakfast was very tasty and a good choice of beverages/food to buy throughout the day. The owners were brilliant and really attentive, went the extra mile to help us as our luggage got lost and sorted out some spare clothes - not a service you'd get in any other hotel I don't think. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly return!

Haber the little dog the hotel is named after such a cute friendly dog. The food was amazing, cocktails were perfect. Thr customer service was beyond excellent. The owners were very very nice and we exchanged little trinkets to remember each other by. Such an amazing experience.

From the very beginning, Wojtek waasa attentive to our needs going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay! We have two kids 4 and 1 and also traveled with my fiance's parents and we ALL loved our rooms. The staff became more like family over our 3 days at the resort too. We walked to town in about 15 mins and was able to pick up items we needed from the supermarket. The beach was beautiful and right behind the property making for easy access to the pretty Indian Ocean. Every single meal was delicious and chef, we miss your fried rice already! Wojtek worked with me to arrange a beautiful birthday dinner by the pool for my guy and it was the perfect place for us. Hussain and his team were wonderful, our children loved the pool, and we would happily go back to Tamu Tamu when back in Pwani Mchangani!

Our experience of zanzibar cannot be complete without this resort. Truly a paradise. I give them an 11/10. You might think this is an over exaggeration, and yes, it is not. Why? Because they also don't hold back on their sensitivity. The staff in mambo have sensitivity on 20/10. Whatever they lack as a facility, they make up for in sensitivity. Truly, they do not lack much. Clean, airy, spacious, noiseless, very clean again. Now to the sensitive part; they need to be given a thripple thumbs up thats why I give them 20/10. They will TAKE CARE OF YOU. They make sure you are comfy, always asking if yoh are fine and even if you are not happy they go out of their way to make you happy. As much as you pay for this service they make it worth the while. MAMBO IS A PARADISE OF SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY AND BE AT PEACE NO MATTER HOW SHORT OR LENGTHY YOUR STAY IS. THEIR MANAGER IS A GEM. I'D GO AGAIN IF I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY. The breakfast was very good and a big variety go chose from. The location is great too. It is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from the airport. It is a beautiful establishment that is well maintained and manned.
