Amazing villa that was perfect for my family Of 4. The private pool was gorgeous and felt very luxurious. The staff are kind and helpful and the cook is great. Breakfast (included) is really good. Would definitely recommend!

It's not a luxury hotel, but for the price Aves exceeded my expectations. If you want quiet, get a room as high up as possible to reduce noise. That hallways outside your room can get noisy at times. There is no elevator. The neighborhood just has dirt roads, but it is charming and the people are friendly and respectful.

The Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa is truly a retreat. We stayed two nights--late afternoon and evening after a five day, four night safari--and the next night after touring the Arusha Natural History Museum and Masai Market. That gave us plenty of time to relax in the beautiful pool and gardens and enjoy the hospitality at this oasis. We had all of our meals during our stay at the hotel. Delicious food. Gracious and friendly service. For example, we asked the desk to call us a taxi. They apparently were unable to source one within a couple of minutes, so the day manager drove us into town himself. We took a motorcycle rickshaw back from the market which was an adventure.
