Mambo Hideaway is a delightful oasis with an outdoor bar and lovely garden. I stayed in the bungalow and it was spacious, comfortable and clean with a good shower. Aziz and Glorie were terrific hosts. Glorie lives on site, takes care of everything, makes a delicious, abundant breakfast and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought more fuel for the generator so I could access some important messages on wifi. Mambo Hideaway is a great value, run by warm and caring people and I'm very glad I stayed there.

We absolutely loved our stay with Hope in his beautiful apartment. It was a rainy morning, so we enjoyed the coziness of space, washed laundry, had breakfast and lunch that he prepared for us, and then did some exploring of the neighborhood in the afternoon. You have to fall in love in this part of Arusha with tall banana trees everywhere and incredibly friendly locals. Hope took us to the airport the next morning so that we could catch our flight. It was a wonderful experience to be able to stay with him and being treated like a guest and a friend, all in one.
