I was very impressed by the quality and number of ski-lifts (Austrian make) and the very modern ski-pass scanners that would scan your ticket through your jacket or glove. The ski area is very large with many different ski runs available. Many places to rent skis at, again very well set up. Many restaurants to choose from, also on the slopes, including high end restaurants. Prices are generally more expensive, as to be expected from such a place, but still very reasonable and affordable by European standards.

The infrastructure could use a little updating, especially ski lifts. The prices are ridiculous, taxi ride can take two minutes, but you will pay for it 250 UAH regardless, same goes for food and accommodations. This is surely the most expensive place in Ukraine.

Bukovel is Ukraine's premier ski resort, which if you compare to European or North American resorts you will be sorely disappointed. It is poorly laid out, and getting very jumbled now. In Ukraine however, there is little choice, so it is full year round, especially now with the war, there are whole armies of young men hiding away from conscription, and who could blame them. Some lifts offer in summer, and you can go up the mountains fir hiking, hiking, or just relaxing. Winter snow is mostly man made, augmented by some snow fall, but the elevation is not high. There are many restaurants, but not enough, plenty of hotels, not a lot of really good ones, but certainly adequate. By Western standards they are inexpensive, but by local standards they are severely overpriced.

Altogether Bukovel was good.
Altogether Bukovel was good. The slopes were really good - I would say better that in Scandinavia (maybe Are is similar), Sakapone and Slovakia. Freeride zones were my favorite was we got lot on new snow. Other slopes were maintained well. Good places to eat or to have bear. Center ski rent was disaster - bad equipment and long queues. recommend to rent from some smaller places. Go skiing as early as possible, approx.. 11 most of people will arrive and then there are some lifts where you need to wait couple of minutes.
Our hotel was 2 km from the center and taxi cost 5-6 € one way. In the center we did not find any restaurants except Caiser witch was with good food but pit price. Also local liquor that they recommended was really bad even for us. Later we found local restaurants more fare from the center and they were 2 x cheaper with the same or even better quality.
Walking around Bukovel was almost impossible as there was no sidewalks. We needed to walk on roads and it was quite dangerous.
For nightlife the best palace was BUKA - nightclub and in other room there was cabree :)
So yes I would go back there. Little Soviet time romantic mixed with modern European things.

Its good city for winter entertainments however people has made this experience not good enough as they don't speak English they are not very helpful and i hardly find my hotel and i couldn't get my ticket to play any thing easily ,, you need to know someone there or to go with group.

We visited at end of summer season, with autumn just starting. Found there were lots of adventurous activities to keep everyone entertained.
Lots of places to eat with lots of varieties of different cuisines. Being Muslim even found a few places that served halal food.
Would highly recommend anyone to visit. Hopefully next time we will be able to spend more time, and explore the area properly.
Wonderful staff and the hotel itself! Diverse breakfast, anyone will find something they may like. Great SPA complex, with a huge but not deep pool.
Also, one of my friends broke her leg on the third day of our stay, but our apartment has 2 floors and the bedroom was on a second. When the staff realized that, they proposed to give a free apartment with only one floor for that girl for the last day of our visit!
So, the staff and politics of the complex are awesome, that was a really great experience!)
Great place to stop on your journey to Mountains. Just few meters from main road, over picturesque little bridge laying a modern hotel with separate ethnic cottage! Pool area very cozy and BBQ areas even nicer! Dinner in restaurant was outstanding! Bograch soup and Kiev’s cutlet best I’ve had! Breakfast choices offered nice variation of home made dishes, coffee and teas. I had blintzes with cottage cheese and sour craft sauce and strawberry jam. And local herbs tea.
Lovely castle-like mini-hotel. I stayed in one of the towers, a tiny but comfortable room with a huge round bed taking up the whole tower area. It has a bit of a fairy-tale feeling, like Rapunzel in the tower. The bathroom is small but very clean and with all the amenities. Overall, this room is a great experience for an overnight or a few nights stay for solo or a couple who came for an active stay in the area and don't plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
The location was perfect, quite close to city center, a supermarket and some good italian eateries. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm. One elderly staff member was a darling, asking about how we liked ukraine, even though she spoke no english. She came out to the car to see us off, waving and blowing kisses, asking us to return soon. I would love to go once during the ski reason, as the hotel is actually more of a ski resort.
Gorgeous view from the house, and the house itself is much nicer than even the pictures show. The house is well equipped, and the hosts living nearby are helpful and hospitable. It's quiet, but also not far from the main part of Bukovel, so accessing the shops and ski lifts is easy. Parking is easy. Barbecue and open fire are very romantic. Beds are very comfortable. Hot water and water pressure all good.
It has very affordable prices and delicious food in it. location is really good, but you need to climb on a hill, if you have a car or you are in a good shape that won't be a problem for you. Rooms are clean and shiny, with great mountains panorama. You will have all facilities that you need, and prices in hotel and in restaurant are very affordable for Bukovel. Highly recommend to visit and stay here
Everything was PERFECT!!! The hotel was as advertised. Facilities were immaculate as were the rooms. Olga was a perfect hostess, very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Olga the waitress was very good in all aspects. Restaurant food was delicious and well priced. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job. Could not imagine a better place to stay in Bukovel. Will definitely return.
close to slopes, rich interior design, excellent location - you can walk or have a nice transfer from hotel to reception which is great stuff in case you traveling with big family and don’t want to park your car each time

The hotel was perfect for our family. It had 3 toilets in the room, 2 showers, a kitchen, beautifully designed interior, tons of wardrobes and drawers. The view was exeptional. Breakfasts were delicious. Staff was always very friendly. Big parking lot. Close to everything by foot. Overall 10/10. Will come back for sure!
