Appelton is a great location for the fine arts building and the many bars and restaurants that are on College Avenue. There’s always something going on. A very diverse culture everyone seems to always be having a great time. There’s always a band playing at one of the bars we Uber ride everywhere and park at our hotel. We happened to be there the day Octoberfest was being celebrated. This made getting around the downtown area difficult. We were in town for a Celebration of Life for a friend so we drove in, stayed the night, attended the service and headed back to MN. It's a cute little place, not to city like but not country. The mall is a nice mall if you like to shop. Many really awesome restaurants in the area. Just a nice place to escape to and to get out of town for a day or 2. Love the variety of stores to check out too. I love thrift stores and they have a lot of really awesome ones there to check out too. We tried some new restaurants as well and so far never been to a one we didn't enjoy as of yet. We enjoy shopping and eating in the Appleton area. They have a wide variety of shops and restaurants to cater to any taste, depending on what you are looking for. Also, Appleton is starting to be know for it's music scene, with Mile of Music being one of it's largest draws as a live original music festival.Guest review byKerry

We had a nice spacious room with two big beds. There was a huge TV with lots of channels and an armchair, which gave us a space to chill. There was a big, modern shower. We also liked free coffee in the main entrance area. They’re modern enough to enjoy your stay, really cheap and the bed was super comfy. The location is near a lot of shops in Appleton and places to get food. There is a pool with towels, the bathrooms all come equipped with lotions, soaps and shampoos in lovely quantity.
