The place was just great, absolutely beautiful scenery. There were places relatively close like tourist attractions. I went the wrong way in which turned bad quick and was able to call owner at midnight. She answered very polite and helped me get spun around and to the location safley. They are just the kindest most considerate host I could of ever asked for. The people who were around neighbors and such were also very polite. The kids had an amazing time and I just loved deff going back a couple times a year for weekend trips.

An absolutely wonderful cabin in the woods! The hosts sent us clear instructions for finding the place and getting in. The place does have a home-away-from-home feel to it. The coffee hosts provided was very good. When we travel again to the area, we will definitely consider staying there.

What a hidden gem!! The cabin was exactly what we needed-- very private and peaceful, and everything we needed was provided. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to Red River Gorge and other activities, but the view from the front porch was 100% worth the drive! It was super clean and comfortable, and the loft was surprisingly spacious ◡̈

We enjoyed Beattyville and the Red River Gorge Coffee...

We enjoyed Beattyville and the Red River Gorge Coffee Company, which had really good chicken salad on croissant and BLT’s . In nearby Slade we very much enjoyed the food at RedPoint bbq. We met a few people in Beattyville while looking around and they were all very warm and extremely friendly. The location of Beattyville is very near red River Gorge, and a lot of beautiful sites. I would recommend others visit Beattyville for a very sweet couples weekend away.

This area is remote and the little town doesn't offer many...

This area is remote and the little town doesn't offer many restaurants or shopping, so come for the hiking, rafting and enjoying the natural beauty in the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest. We enjoyed lunch at Los Two Brothers and The Rock House (great burgers!) You have to slow down here, partially because of the winding, narrow roads, and also because the natural beauty is stunning.
