Also decent cultural attractions including a nice outdoor amphitheater during warm weather months. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Bend. Bend has changed a lot over the years since my first time there 30+ years ago. Then I would consider it the mecca of Oregon. Now, it's over populated, traffic is horrible and it's totally lost its charm. It has grown in popularity and can be a bit overwhelming at times and prices are fairly high but the experience is amazing!
