Karen & Colin we’re terrific hosts. The vintage 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is very cute, clean and has a very comfortable setting in the countryside. We had a group of three couples and each of us had our own bedrooms. One bedroom was a Master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. Our bed was a smaller with a Full mattress but comfortable. My friends had queen mattresses and they said they slept comfortably as well. Two bedrooms share a good size hallway bathroom with a full size tub/shower. The house sits overlooking a small farm and has a very nice view from the back porch. Front living room has a shelf of books to read and the house has free WiFi and TV with Netflix. Kitchen looked fairly well stocked but we only stayed one night & didn’t need to cook. We all enjoyed the stay and would stay there again and want to explore more of the property & nearby area.

Coastal Hideaway in Carlsbad provides adults-only accommodations with a garden and barbecue facilities. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the homestay free of charge.

We liked everything about the property and host! The house was fully stocked and beyond with extra amenities that one doesn't usually find at other vacay rentals such as quality EVOO, balsamic, toothpaste/tooth brushes, and the lavender pillow spray in each bedroom was a big hit with our group. It's those little things go travelers appreciate. :-) The house and grounds are very spacious and accommodated our group of 12 very nicely with plenty of room to move around. It was a mini family reunion for us as we gathered for a wedding. Plenty to do in and on the property for relaxing, visiting, cooking, games, entertainment, basketball ball hoop, putting green, fire pit, BBQ, lounge and sitting chairs all over. The grounds were impressive as well with mature foliage that you will feel like you're at a Caribbean resort pool. Hands down, we recommend this place to others.
