Located off Interstate 81 Exit 74A, this Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bristol features an indoor pool and a breakfast carryout bag. The Virginia-Tennessee state border is 0.8 mi away. I loved everything about this place and would stay here again if ever in the area.

The Sessions Hotel, Bristol, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms in Bristol. From the time that we arrived, all the staff was super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond for us. The hotel its self was exceptional, clean, cozy, and exactly as the picture showed and it even smelled great. The food at the restaurant was out of this world . If I could rate this place a 20 I would. Thanks so much for the awesome stay !!!!
Bristol only had few things to do for me. The Caverns ( appointment recommended due to covid) , the race tracking the river Dan . We went to Bristol to spend Christmas Eve at a cabin that lost power for 3 hours on Christmas Eve. Memories that we will never forget :( , during December we had snow was was freezing or bellow freezing.
Money went missing from inside my travel bag. Very disappointed. Should have known better. However, I didn't expect someone to enter my room and root through my things. I was not laying on top of dresser, it was tucked away. In order to find it, they searched through my belongings. Won't be returning.
Bristol is an interesting town --- two cities, two states, one great location. Be sure to visit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum; try to get tickets for the Farm and Fun Radio Show, which is broadcast once a month from the museum. Check out the Bristol sign when it is lighted at night. Of course, try to get a picture when you are standing in the middle of the street, straddling two states.
Beautiful scenery as you approach Bristol. Great view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. This was an overnight stop on our way home. We checked in, went to sleep, got up for breakfast and began the last leg home. Unfortunately we didn't take the time to explore the area.
I love Bristol! I mostly go there for the NHRA drag races and NASCAR races and always have a great time. There are many scenic drives in the area and plenty of homegrown places to eat at while you're there. I intend to see the caves next trip I make to Bristol.
What a fantastic little town, friendly helpful people. The birth place if country music divided by the state line of Viginia and Tennessee. Make sure you visit the Blackbird bakery cafe and the museum. Also the radio station on State street. Couldn't recommend the place more highly especially for a full day of wandering around. Xxx
