Beautiful city hands down beautiful. Data connections were the absolute worst. I fully understand wanting to keep the small town charm but to do it at the loss of communication isn't fun. Can't read up on things to do locally and surrounding.

Charming town with interesting stores and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend Sea Chest, Robin's, and Madeleine's for dinner and Creekside for breakfast. Several good golf courses and wine tasting spots within 30-40 minutes in Morro Bay and Paso Robles.

Cambria is a great small town with all the amenities you could want. Many great places to eat and shop. It has a nice grocery store that has everything you we need. Paso Robles is about 33 miles away, if you want to do some wine tasting. We will definitely come back.

Great for visiting Hearst Castle - the ‘Cottages and...
Great for visiting Hearst Castle - the ‘Cottages and Kitchens’ tour was the better of the two tours we have been on.
Moonstone Beach is atmospheric and there are some lovely clifftop walks available.
Cambria is a delightful little town with a friendly population. This was our third visit there.
Disappointingly, the PCH is currently closed between Cambria and Carmel (and has been since 2023) requiring a long and unattractive detour away from the coast.
Such a shame as that is one of the most scenic parts of the PCH.

For our particular pleasures, Cambria is a nice quiet spot in which to relax and enjoy good food. We also enjoy playing golf and so Morro Bay and Paso Robles (Paso Robles Golf Club) are within easy driving distance and also feature some nice restaurants. For those who enjoy a longer list of activities, hiking, beach combing, wine tasting, shopping, surfing, are just a few of the many things you can do. Hearst Castle is within just few miles of Cambria and is well worth visiting as well.

It is very relaxing with easily accesible walking areas on a boardwalk near the beach. The beach is not the best for sunning and swimming, due to the area being very rocky. The rocks make for a picturesque experience and it is very beautiful. The town of Cambria has interesting shops and many restaurants to choose from.

Amazing location, just across the Pacific Ocean. We only stayed one night, but this was such memorable moment of our once-in-a-lifetime trip to California. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. Loved the vibe, the comfort, the cute beach hut type rooms, the free bikes, the parking right in front of your room (motel style, very exotic for us Europeans), the ultra fast wi-fi (I mean, 150 Mbps? In a hotel? How?).

Rooms were well appointed and spacious. Bathroom was roomy and had a great shower. We upgraded for a small fee and got an outdoor patio which overlooked the pool. There was ample free parking. Just a short walk to beach and boardwalk. Fire pits for use if desired. The town of Cambria is lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot right opposite beach - where we saw seals on the rocks! A lovely 30 min walk into the main street of Cambria either along beach or boardwalk. Lots of breakfast options including freshly made pancakes! Didn’t have time to try the heated pool and spa but it looked appealing.
