Really nice Inn, next to highway 101, so great stop off for a road trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Inn is within a 10 minute walk to the beach, as well as shops and restaurants. Would recommend for solo travelers, it's a safe area and a beautiful neighbourhood.

I had a wonderful stay! The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The private balcony and ocean view were absolutely relaxing. Natty was a lovely and thoughtful host — communication was smooth and friendly. She even followed up personally after my stay and truly cared about guest feedback. I’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Barbara!

Back yard seating is next to a waterfall which makes it so relaxing. Landscaping and decor just beautiful! Didn’t have to contact the host because everything was perfect! Right next door to the Sacred Place. Nice little shop and garden to relax at.

I am moving to Carpenteria by the end of summer to be close to family. I am leaving my mountain cabin. I stay at the motel once a month. I love the town and the beach! You can walk from the motel to many restuarants and to the beach, if your legs work better than mine do!

I'm in the midst of having a brand new mobile home placed in a park in Carpenteria, so that I can be close to my grandkids. I enjoy staying at the Motel 6 with my little doggie until I am able to live there permanently.

We were actually working in Santa Barbara but all the rooms...

We were actually working in Santa Barbara but all the rooms were booked up there maybe the last few days of our job and it was a good experience in Santa Barbara and in Carpinteria we stopped by a few stores while we were there and the workers were very friendly. Considering we weren't off until late like maybe 10:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. and we felt very safe thank you

Easy walk from Motel 6 on Carpinteria Street to restaurants...

Easy walk from Motel 6 on Carpinteria Street to restaurants and the beach. "The Spot" for burgers! Little Dom's for fancy feed. I walked my doggie in her stroller. Grocery store two blocks down the street. Not fancy digs. Just PEACE and QUIET. Nice pool too.

When I visit my daughter and grandson in Santa Barbara, I...

When I visit my daughter and grandson in Santa Barbara, I like to have my privacy so I stay here. The dog and i can walk to the beach boardwalk in 20 minutes. There's the tasty burger shack where we share! There are bathrooms. On the way to the beach you will find restaurants and shops. The old doggie is in a nice-sized stroller, so we can bring back goodies. Right next door to the Motel 6 on Carpenteria Street is a grocery store, dollar-type store, and Goodwill too! Have fun!

We have stayed for years on Thanksgiving.

We have stayed for years on Thanksgiving. We love the hotel, but this year I asked for a disabled room and although the shower tub was much lower my husband still had a hard time. We needed a roll in shower.
