The city of steeples, no building can be taller than a church steeple. Very charming, a foodie city, very historic, with over 400 years of history. Lots to see; Victorian and older homes are amazing. Went to the port restaurant, breakfast at The Toast, and All Day, Aquarium is worth a visit.

Hotel is clean and quiet compared to others.

Hotel is clean and quiet compared to others. Loved having a mini kitchen with freezer. Do check the water pressure in the bathroom sink faucet before unpacking. Ours was a mere trickle. Everything else was great!

The location is close to perfect if you want to spend two days in Charleston. It is close enough to historic downtown on the other side of the bridge and also close to Boone Hall Plantation and Patriots Point itself. The accomodation offers a quite nice pool area, too. Breakfast sure seems ok if you are okay with american style breakfast (which isn´t for us) :-D
