Located in Clarksdale, Travelers Hotel has a bar. The property has free private parking and free WiFi. At the hotel, the rooms come with a desk. The architecture and design was flawless. Very appropriate for Clarksdale. Centered and convenient. Walking distance from bars. Recommended!
With a shared lounge and a garden, Clark House Inn is located in Clarksdale and provides free WiFi. All units feature a private bathroom and have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a toaster. Everything was great! I would highly recommend. Host was very helpful.
Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Lula is located in Lula and features a restaurant. At the hotel, all rooms include a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. I requested a room either on the first floor or close to the elevators as I have a disability and cannot walk long distances. Upon checking in late in the evening, they said they didn't see my request until just then. We ended up in a room in the 2nd building near the end of the hall. Had to walk through the pool area, up the elevator and then down a long hallway to our room. It was an extremely painful experience for me.
Delta Inn is offering accommodations in West Helena. This property provides both free WiFi and private parking free of charge. At the motel, all rooms are equipped with a closet. I loved our room attendant. She made sure our room was spotless and smelling clean and if we needed anything she didn’t hesitate to get it for us. She also supplied us with a fly swatter for the pesky mosquitoes and flies that wouldn’t stay out of our room. I Rate her customer service a 10 and then some!
Best Western Inn features a hot breakfast, free WiFi, and seasonal outdoor pool. The Mississippi River is 5 mi away. A writing desk and a flat-screen TV are offered in guest rooms at Best Western Inn.... From the beginning, to the end, everything went smoothly. So grateful; especially, the circumstances. Made our stay peacefully bearable! Not to mention, how convenient everything was. We were conveniently near everything.
It was a cultural experience. Talk to Roger at Cathead Music & Art Gallery. He knows everything there is to know abt Clarksdale. Go to Hambone's and Red's Juke Joint. Avoid tamales at Hick's! It was Xmas Eve - restaurants were closed but our hostel hosts included us in their unique Christmas Eve dinner.
We came on a Sunday and were here through Monday. Many restaurants were closed and there were no music venues. I think the best time to visit here is when there is a music festival. The Blues Museum was good.
Clarksdale is a national treasure if you are into roots music. There are a number of music venues, and someone is playing the blues somewhere every night. There are nice cafes and hotels, but beware that the town is pretty shut down from Sunday night to Wednesday except during festivals. People are very friendly!
I love Clarksdale MS because it is home nothing more nothing less I had dinner at the Mexican restaurant and at the hibachi buffet and shopped at Walmart not much to do a lot of the stores have closed
Nice historical backdrop to Clarksdale. I found the Stone Pony Pizza to be good but a bit pricey. Clarksdale at night is semi-confusing to navigate around especially in the area of the Clarkhouse. I would avoid the Guadalajara restaurant.
One of the CoC members stopped my wife and me in the middle of the street when we looked lost and informed us all about the town. It was a marvelous experience! We were there to find out about the blues, and we did, it was just great!
Everything was great! I would highly recommend. Host was very helpful.
