Beautiful home. Great hosts! They thought of the best little touches. Shampoo, conditioner, bath wash, laundry pods and dishwasher pods, and plenty of toilet paper. They had every dish we needed, coffee, and spices! Perfect location and nice neighborhood. Just was so wonderful!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this lovely guesthouse near Cortez, CO, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Tucked away just off the highway, the property is peaceful and beautifully maintained, complete with a charming water feature that added a serene touch to our mornings and evenings. Every detail was so thoughtfully put together—from the fully stocked kitchen and comfy couches to the abundance of linens and inviting outdoor lounge areas. It truly felt like a home away from home. And I have to mention the beds—without a doubt, the most comfortable I’ve experienced while traveling. We all slept like babies! What really made the stay unforgettable, though, was Michelle. She is a genuine ray of sunshine—so warm, vibrant, and welcoming. She was always available for questions and went above and beyond to make sure our family felt comfortable and cared for. When we ran into some unexpected car trouble, Michelle didn’t hesitate to help us extend our stay, turning a stressful situation into something manageable and even relaxing. We initially booked for two nights but ended up staying three—and I’m already dreaming of our return. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped place to unwind with a host who truly cares, look no further. Thank you, Michelle—we’ll definitely be back!

Dede Hodge (manager) runs an excellent place with the help of very capable staff Kia and Arulla. Ideal location for visits to Mesa Verde. Breakfast provided was outstanding and helped with a good start for the day. The motel and facilities were very clean with game room facilities for families to enjoy. Good choices of restaurants in Cortez.

A funky nice and comfortable hotel. A nice alternative to the "box hotels". Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We travel with our dog and they were very welcoming and accommodating. The area around the hotel was a pleasant walk felt very safe. Beds were comfortable and was nice to have a real refrigerator and freezer. There is a dog park about a mile from the hotel so was great location for us.

The decor is very old fashioned and needs updating😉 Joking besides, the retro fixtures and fittings make this a really fun place to stay; nostalgic even for those who remember it all first time around. Retro for sure, but everything is clean and tidy and works perfectly, with the exception, ironically, of the wifi! All in all though, a gem of a find, and highly recommended.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and the beds comfortable. We also got a crib for the baby which was a big plus. The breakfast was nice :)
