It's possible that this place was recently renovated. No carpet in the rooms, which I liked as carpets are quiet but hold so much dirt and germs. Beds and linens were very comfortable. With breakfast, a gym and a pool, the value for money spent was excellent

The staff were very professional handling an issue with my booking confirmation. Between 30-45 minutes of phone calls to get the issue resolved, they were consistent in not showing any frustrations the matter. They even provided a slight nightly discount for the inconvenience.

I stayed here every year around the summer when I come to pick up my grandson and then when I drop him off at the end of summer. Even though the hotel has changed names and probably owners it's still a great hotel I like that it's centrally located to the freeway to a grocery store a gas station and a couple other things needed when you're only staying overnight. I once lived in this area so I'm already familiar with Dickinson. Always a great value the rooms have a full size fridge and stove the bathroom waters always hot. Beds are nice and comfortable. If anything I would give a couple more pillows cuz some of us like to sleep on multiple pillows.

We stayed on our way to Bismark after the north park drive . I would suggest staying there for the south entrance rather than Medora . Most people stay in Medora but it's pricey , more than treble what we paid . Theatre is a big attraction in Medora but tickets were $168!! Heard the next day it was religious with bad dancing so glad we missed it . Plus as a veggie I wouldn't want a pitchfork steak . Just check it out before going . Fab Mexican restaurant opposite hotel sombrero for dinner .

On a motorcycle trip from Maryland and we wanted to have a place close to Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park, but not too close to pay the possible higher or sold out room. We were about 30 minutes or so away from the South entrance and a little over an hour to the north entrance. Dickinson town itself was nice and we had a nice meal there and visited the Dinosaur Museum.

Dickinson is a small town but it has a lot of options for hotels and restaurants. It’s a nice town with lots of friendly people and it’s a short drive to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the town of Medora and the Medora Musical which is a must see if visiting western North Dakota.

Not many eateries near the lodgings.

Not many eateries near the lodgings. I heard that if you were visiting ND as your 50th state, the visitors bureau had special items for you. Close proximity to Theodore Roosevelt NP. A nice park with beautiful scenery and lots of hiking trails.

Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Heating/cooling system was noisy. Cleanliness was a major issue, as the hotel is VERY understaffed [and did not have a cordless stick vacuum that I could use on the stairs and hallway]. "Josh" was very responsive to our concerns, but the poor guy needs to be working a LOT less than he is.

The room had more than we could ask for! We had a full size fridge, stove, hairdryer, and the hotel clerk gave service with a smile! That was my first clue that we were going to have the best stay ever!

The hotel was quiet, room was huge. Staff was friendly. They seemed to be an extended family working together to run the hotel. It was actually quite wholesome to witness.
