Set within the grounds of the privately owned Plantation Edisto Championship Golf Course, this property is 5 minutes’ walk from Edisto Beach, based on unit location. The one-bedroom studio was beyond my expectations. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was superb (near the beach) and the staff was super friendly.
Set in Edisto Island, within 984 feet of Edisto Beach, Change in Attitude - 2BR Condo Golfin’, Fishin’, Beachin’ Everyday offers accommodations with air conditioning. We loved the screened porch. It's so big with a beautiful view and has plenty of seating. The swing was a big hit. We saw deer on the golf course in the early morning and at dusk. It was fun to watch the golfers too. Overall very quiet and peaceful and comfortable. Nice condo with nice finishes throughout. The table seats six and the table on the porch seats four. There are three bar stools as well at the kitchen counter. Nice big 12-cup coffeemaker. We ran the heat and it really warmed up the place. The TV was easy to work and had all the channels we needed. There are tons of pots and pans in the kitchen cupboards.
Edisto Island was fine, loved the local cuisine, walking on the beach, liked it is not commercialized. if you want to get away from 'civilization' as we know it, good place to go. shopping pricey, but that's to be expected. went to museum, bookstore, general store (best place to get tshirts) ice cream/candy store. Just do not use booking.com & stay in a house there, or go directly thru company to book a villa.
Being from the Charleston area, I have been familiar with Edisto island for most of my life. It has not grown very much in any regard except for the presence of rental property. This influx of wealth has in no way generated better business in the area, with a few small, poorly stocked and staffed, aging stores being the only source of food or medicine. The island itself is in good condition and easily accessible.
Can't wait to come back! We came during a quiet week-the beach and restaurants weren't crowded and it was quiet and relaxing. Not too many places to eat, but we enjoyed the Sea Cow and the Jungle Shack. Tons of beach access. Loved seeing pelicans on the beach and deer as we biked around the island!
We had an amazing trip! We got to watch the sunrise. We got to watch the dolphins play in the ocean! We had a wonderful family vacation!! The beach was very relaxing. Edisto isn’t like other over packed beaches it’s family friendly not packed at all!
Beautiful area, quaint, family friendly, not over crowded, traffic is light. I do recommend watching a sunset over the Sound and watching the dolphins after sunset. It was incredible. Clean beaches. Needs more public restrooms and showers. Everything is within walking, biking or golf cart distance which is nice.
Edisto Beach is a hidden gem nestled in a tranquil picturesque surrounding. You are likely to see more bike riders than motorists. I felt like a character in a Nicholas Sparks movie. It is definitely the most intriguing place I have been in the state of South Carolina. There are no fast food chains only locally owned businesses which is refreshing for some but may be bothersome to others. Edisto Beach is a great place for relaxation and getting in tune with nature. A must see for anyone who lives in South Carolina so glad my husband and I spent a few days here. I highly recommend The Sea Cow Eatery best burger I've had in years and McConkey's Jungle Shack for a bargain breakfast go to the Bi-Lo for the best grits!
