The Maples w/ King Bed is located in Ellicottville, 3.7 mi from Holiday Valley, in an area where skiing can be enjoyed. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Although there was an upper apartment- it was just us there. I liked having our own space and fire pit. The basement apartment is so cute and decorated with modern elegance. I loved it and felt so comfortable there . I would be happy to return.
I was disappointed in the shops on the main street; the variety is missing. I always found something different and reasonably priced when shopping in the past. Many shops are now high-end clothing stores. I also remember more dining choices.
Ellicottville was absolutely a gorgeous and scenic community in October. Its a quaint village with mostly friendly town folks, shops, restaurants and other establishments was a joy and we would have liked to have spent an additional day there. It did tend to feel a little "haughty" in some instances at some of the higher priced shops and boutiques. and some of the prices and attitudes were better suited for Aspen CO not Ellicottville NY.
This is a great town. Old world charm with modern flare. There are tons of options for dinning, sampling the local beverages, and shops of all types. There seems to be something going on almost all the time in the town so plenty of activities to take part in. Year round it is a great town.
A historic village in the WNY Southern Tier loaded with charm and friendly people. The food at the brewery was awesome as were the beers. The shops are cool and we spent some time visiting all that interested us and spent $$ on a few things that we really liked. It is walk-able which is a huge plus. It is picturesque especially in winter and I would love to see the fall foliage which was just starting to turn during this visit.
It is adorable! Streets were so pretty with huge flower pots up & down the streets, walk to everything! Ellicottville Brew Co is so cool & beautiful both inside & out! Had breakfast at the Gin Mill...great! Everyone was friendly and happy we were there. And it's only a couple miles from Holiday Valley.
I grew up in Rochester but made a trip through Ellicottville several times a year to visit family in New Albion. The new Ellicottville far exceeded my youthful recollections of this area. Walking through town was very nice and the nightlife was rocking! We saw several bridal parties having a blast at the local pubs and restaurants. I look forward to coming back to E-ville for our next family reunion!
Room was very clean. Very spacious. Staff was excellent. Decent continental breakfast.
