We loved walking downtown and going to the shops. We ate at the cathouse because they were playing the basketball game. It was a fun environment. We also enjoyed going to the many flea markets around town. Tried to go see the Onyx cave but it was closed.
Eureka Springs, because of its unique recent history, is a very special place of inclusion for all political stripes. It has uncanny diversity for NE Arkansas. It is progressive without being annoying, intent on first pleasing its guests. If you don’t like friendly and jovial crowds avoid the large festivals and go when the restaurants and shops can offer more attention and conversation. We absolutely love this town! Maria and Daniel
The traffic is horrible. Especially during the vehicle and motorcycle events. Not enough parking. The grocery store is awesome. The shops are cool. The roads are a nightmare. Every Bikers Blues and Bbq weekend results in traffic fatalities. It's loud. They have a lot of wonderful restaurants. Cafe Amore. La Familia, and Sparkys! They have some nice bars. The Passion Play is in a wonderful location and have a Bible museum and a Holy Land Tour as well as the giant statue of Christ of the Ozarks. There are some supposedly haunted hotels that are amazing just to see. There are many things to do and see. If you don't like Crowds avoid the big event weekends. If you don't mind crowds, then you will love it. Be prepared to walk up a lot of hills to shop. And wear shoes you won't trip over the uneven sidewalks comfortably. Heels definitely not recommended. If you can park your car at your hotel and get around by the trolleys you can avoid the traffic. It cheap and gets you everywhere around town.
The landscape looked nothing like the photos online, granted our stay was in early fall. There was enough damage to the stairs and walkways that anyone with mobility concerns should definitely find another place to stay. It appeared to me the property hasn't looked like the photos in many years. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. The two-person Jacuzzi tub was compensation enough for the lack of outdoor enjoyment. The breakfast was good and available for several hours unlike some other places that only give you till 9am. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
Eureka Springs is a very unique town. It is built into the side of the mountains so it’s full of very creative architecture. The people are always happy and helpful. The food is excellent. If you like bloody marys go to the Basin hotel’s restaurant. I’m usually not a fan but it was fantastic. We tried the Horseshoe Grill. We were a party of 8 and everyone was pleased with our food. They have a variety of food, burgers, catfish, shrimp, steak and Tex Mex. The cheese dip was very good. They have multiple little cafes and restaurants spread throughout the town. Getting around town can be a little challenging with limited parking on busy weekends. The trolley system and the taxi services are always fast and efficient, plus very affordable. There are tons of shops so you are sure to find something for just about anyone. This is a little town you will want to visit more than once there is so much to do and see. It’s by far one of my favorite places. It has an unbelievable atmosphere. Family and fur baby friendly. I can’t say enough.
We got down about noon, but didn't get downtown until around 3pm. We did have problems finding a place to eat a late lunch. Mud Street Café and a few of the other coffee shops apparently close or at least close their kitchens at 3pm. So if you plan on eating downtown, get there early. Also, make sure you have cash, the first restaurant we found was cash only. Make sure to check out the different festivals that they have. We have been to the Zombie Crawl two years now as a family, and my best friend and always make the Christmas Home tour in Dec and we did the Witches Escape in Sept of this year.
Eureka Springs
Nice we had refrigerator. The nice thing was we had booked 2 days but was allowed to cancel second day we decided to go home a day early. However internet didn’t work at all had to stand in driveway for it to stay connected. We came in on a Wed to enjoy eureka springs but very few thing open till Thursday so we only took a train ride on Thursday am and left. We had planned to shop on Wednesday most shops were closed. Not hotels fault.
Eureka Springs
The rooms was extremely clean!! My wife and I arrived on a motorcycle and the last two nights we was there they was calling for bad storms. The couple there said i could park it under the overhangs going into the rooms which was very much appreciated. We will be back there in eureka springs and will definitely being staying there again and its very close to downtown and several restaurants in that area.

Eureka Springs
The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, taking a relaxing bath in the tub and the view into the forrest is beautiful. Everything was clean and we were met with kindness and genuine interest. We recommend Eureka Sunset Cabins for anyone on the outlook for a relaxing time in a nourishing environment.
Eureka Springs
We chose this lodging establishment based on the favorable reviews. We made a great choice. The room was clean, comfortable, exceptionally well decorated, and the bed was excellent. Definitely would consider staying here again when in Eureka Springs.
Classic historic hotel in the heart of Eureka Springs downtown. The receptionist upgraded us to a corner suite...with a sitting room and Jacuzzi. Very large room. Elevator for upper floors. Free parking with shuttle. Highly recommend.
Very clean, great view, very comfortable. This was the second time in a year and a half that my husband and I have stayed at Hotel O and we absolutely love it and will continue to use Hotel O when we come to Eureka Springs.
Beautiful view, lovely historic building, friendly people, great spa and dining areas, lovely neighborhood to walk around in, downtown Eureka Springs historic shopping district is like no other.
Chris, the Manager/Owner of the hotel was extremly polite and helpful, he even gave us a ride to nearby restaurant..... We will definetly come back!!

The cozy feel and how it's close to downtown Eureka Springs, yet far enough away to be secluded!
Very handy to downtown Eureka Springs. The facilities were freshly painted and exceptionally clean.
