Clean Renovation, But Kitchen Supplies Missing During Stay We booked a two-night stay at WoodSpring Suites Seattle Everett after leaving another hotel due to safety concerns. The property itself is newly renovated—clean, streamlined, and visually appealing. However, we were surprised to find that the room had no kitchen supplies at all: no cups, bowls, forks, or spoons. When we asked, the front desk staff explained that all supplies had been discarded during the renovation and wouldn’t be restocked for another two weeks. Unfortunately, this update wasn’t posted on the hotel’s website, which made our booking feel misleading. Despite this, the staff member was exceptionally polite and went above and beyond. He searched the storage room and found a bowl and plate for us, which helped us get through the stay. We checked in close to 10 PM, so his effort was especially appreciated. This is clearly a temporary issue, and once resolved, the hotel will likely offer a much better experience. The location suited my needs.
The location suited my needs. But... the woman at the reception gave me the feeling that I was actually bothering her by my arrival. Answered very briefly basic questions (which you usually don't need to ask because you get the information without asking). The room is big but not clean. The floor is sticky and there is dirt from the previous guests. Also, the room is a non-smoking room but it has a strong smell of smoking.
