3-Bedroom apt. Ideal location near new river gorge is located in Fayetteville. Located 24 miles from Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center, the property provides a terrace and free private parking.... The apartment is very clean and cozy. They prepared everything that you need.
Located in Hico in the West Virginia region, Country Road Cabins has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Nice amenities, fire pit, jacuzzi. I requested a blender and they had one waiting for me. Customer service was awesome. We loved our vacation at Country Road Cabins, cheers!
Fayetteville is an interesting little tiny town (emphasis on tiny) right at the heart of all things New River Gorge. Range Finder coffee just opened a stand alone spot and is a great spot for real coffee or hit Wood Iron just up and across the street. If you're a mountain biker, Andy at New River bikes is about as solid as it gets and the shop is more than worth a visit. We struggled a little bit with the dining options without having to jump in the car and explore other towns near by but we'll definitely be back. Loved our time there. Eric and Natalie at the Morris Harvey house could not have been more helpful.
We wanted to stop for the one day and night, before traveling to our final destination. We got to see all that we wanted to see of the gorge plus more. Want to go back with our preteen grandkids, they would enjoy for sure.
Highlights include lots of hiking trails, the gorge, viewpoints along the Endless Wall and Longpoint Trail, the iconic bridge, Glade Creek Grist Mill, Grandview Point, rhododendron jungle, Great place to get away from the big city hustle and bustle...
Awesome location for hiking, climbing, rafting, etc. Just enough quality eating places; we had 2 excellent meals at Pies & Pints and the Mexican place in Oak Hill strip mall (exceeded expectations). Very outdoorsy, nature oriented location. Be active and enjoy!
Has all of the stores and food options you could want while passing through via route 19. I have no idea why one would visit there as a destination but as a stop over to break up a long trip it was fine. The people were all very friendly!
We were stranded here due to weather but they were working hard to clear the parking lot and having a restaurant onsite was a lifesaver! Rooms were clean and they were very friendly. This area is not a usual stop for us but we would stay here again if we found ourselves in the area - and not just if we were stranded.
The location was perfect! It’s not on the main drag, but close enough to everything. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and kind. The pool was very clean and the adjacent laundry facility was very much appreciated. It is pet friendly, which is a bonus for us! The rooms exceeded our expectations on both cleanliness and the size. There is a restaurant onsite and the food was great! They offer a hot, delicious breakfast, which you can hardly find anymore. We’ll be back!
