Florence was a lovely surprise. We had never stayed there before. The downtown area was a great shopping experience. There are many awesome stores. There are several grocery stores too. next time I would like to try the group dune buggy experience. This was my first time this way so it was a good exploration. Florence was only 5 miles from the house. Great restaurants, shops, beach & lake. The people in Florence are GREAT --friendly & accommodating. Love the dune buggy ride & Miniature Golf at Sandland Adventures --FUN! Sea Lion Caves just a short distance outside of Florence --WOW! Old Town had a great ambience with lots of shopping and art galleries to explore. Lack of breakfast options in Old Town was a drawback. Highly recommend The Green Room for a fine dining experience.
