Excellent location in a walking distance to many businesses, restaurants. I really liked the old-timey themed decorations in the whole hotel capturing its 100 years of history. For the money we could not wish for a better place.

This was my first time staying at Edwards House and I couldn't have been more impressed. The location in relation to Fort Collins is ideal, but being a few blocks off of College Ave meant that the property was very quiet and peaceful. There was ample parking between the parking lot and the street and check-in was a breeze. After a long flight from the east coast it was a real treat to find a smorgasbord of teas and coffee along with hot chocolate and cookies in the main area. The room was spacious, the bathroom heavenly (the clawfoot tub was a highlight), and the bed made for sleeping in.

Fort Collins has a vibrant city center with almost no shuttered businesses. There were plenty of decent restaurants (not so much the big Mexican one on the corner) and things to do and see. My first wife was from here but passed away in 1998. She would be shocked at how much this city has grown since our last visit in 1995. If I had to live in a city, I could do a million times worse. Also, for beer lovers like myself, there are many local beers to try and some are very good!

    What's not to like?

What's not to like? Great restaurants (loved the Regional which was also great for our party member with celiac), fine strolling in a charming downtown, arts and gardens and not far to the mountains.

Fort Collins is a real hidden gem relative to its neighbor to the south (Boulder). A cool college town with wide streets, lush foliage, and a laid back vibe. Lots of great restaurants and coffee to be found on College Ave. All of the benefits of a large town in a much smaller and relaxed package.

There is so much to love about Fort Collins.

There is so much to love about Fort Collins. It's known for having a whole bunch of craft beer breweries. Old Town is worth walking around in all seasons. It seems there's always something going on somewhere in town and in the neighboring towns.

Fort Collins, Colorado is a wonderful city.

Fort Collins, Colorado is a wonderful city. Not too large, and not too small. The old downtown is lovely with lots of restored vintage buildings, trendy shops, bars, and restaurants. We attended a craft show on Linden St which was closed to vehicles. It's a great place for a craft show. I had fun exploring the cute downtown district.

The hotel is located in a very cute neighborhood.

The hotel is located in a very cute neighborhood. Fort Collins is very lovely and we usually only drive through to Wyoming when we go to visit our family. It was delightful to stay in such a lovely historic hotel that we could walk to shopping and food. I am sure there was much more to check out but we were there only for the night.

First room they sent us too was completely torn apart beds far from the wall and paint and mud all over the room. The place advertised breakfast but didn’t have any. The entire hotel smelled like sewage. Pool was almost green. Should be able to smell chlorine atleast!! Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were cigarette burns in our sheets. We brought our own blankets and pillows in and out them on top of the bed. No fridge. Whoever bought that place needs to get it fixed up or don’t let people stay there.
