Really nothing, The place is too expensive for the quality and is totally nothing around it. The service is nice but extremely slow, with no coffee in the morning. As well do not ask for more coffee with your breakfast because they going to change you! What was shocking to me!

Franconia, Littleton and Lincoln are lovely and have something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed ice castles. Be sure and book lodging far ahead so you are not disappointed c your accommodations. We drove to North Conway for the day, and it is amazing! Don’t miss Peach’s for breakfast. The white Mountains are truly stunning and magical.

Beautiful town that has lots of outdoor activities or just kick back and relax. Nice little restaurant in town offers a great variety of food. Year-round stuff to do up here makes this a great getaway for people who like the outdoors.

Franconia, NH is a beautiful and natural area of New Hampshire's White Mountains for those looking to really be one with nature! Miles of open forest to go hiking or camping, especially in the autumn when mother nature splashes a dash of color on all the trees; especially when traveling through the Notch. Many areas are so packed with sweet smelling balsam trees. Franconia contains Cannon Mountain where you can ride one of the oldest operating aerial tramway rides; from the base of the mountain to the summit, and in the winter it is a full ski resort. The Flume Gorge is an awesome hike following a river that flows naturally through large granite boulders creating spectacular water falls and basins - catch it during the beautiful colors of autumn and it is a photographer's paradise. Avid travelers also search out Avalanche Falls and the crystal clear waters of Echo Lake Beach during the summer. Skiers would also love to know that Franconia is home to the New England Ski Museum containing ski history and memorabilia including some authentic Olympic Gold medals - perhaps the only place you'll ever see one up close!

Franconia is a small, quiet village with very limited amenities. But it is beautiful and makes getting up into the mountains a bit easier than staying in a larger town. The town of Littleton is only 8 miles away, and may be a better choice, especially for families.
