We loved the historical look and feel of the property. The owner, Rebecca, was an extremely kind person who went out of her way to make the experience everything we wanted. The furniture was beautiful antique, and our bedroom in the lodge was wonderful.  there was no television in our room but we loved it that way. Our room had its own bathroom as well. One must remember that hotels that were built in the 1920s, first of all if they had bathrooms at all, would have one bathroom per floor. Our son and his wife and three kids stayed in one of the cabins and they were very happy with it.  Let your imagination wander. Who are some of the people that have stayed here in the last 95 years and where did their lives take them. Overall a wonderful experience. 

We were warmly greeted on arrival and settled in right away. this is a pristine yet rustic accommodation with all the finishing touches. Common area was comfortable and inviting with wood stove lounge area, large dining table and a well equipped kitchen. In the dead of winter (-25F) everything was toasty warm. Car heater plug-ins were provided. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend Antlers’ Rest if you’re traveling through Glenallen!
