Ideally located in Government Camp, the base of Mt. Hood, Best Western Mt. Hood Inn offers a complimentary hot tub. Free WiFi and private parking is available on site. Everything mostly that little kids were playing on the snow mound out my second floor window!! It was awesome to see kids having so much fun!!
Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a shared lounge, and ski-to-door access, Mt Hood Condo - Open for 2021 ski season features accommodations in Government Camp with free WiFi and pool views. The room was fully updated, clean, and overly supplied. Coffee, sugar, soap, band-aids.. even a baby play pen we didn’t need. But, just saying.. they had it all included. Big WiFi tv. The connection was great. The pool was large, warm, and private. Awesome town to visit for skit-bowl summer park, or winter ski lodges.

3Dogs Cabin offers accommodations in Government Camp. The rooms are fitted with a TV with satellite channels. You will find a coffee machine in the room. All rooms are equipped with a private... It was good having a whole cabin rather than a room, and it had all the basics needed. The location was brilliant - very easy walk to all the facilities of government camp and Skibowl adventure park. The double parking space was useful. The downstairs lounge and kitchen were spacious and comfortable.

I loved how cute and clean perfect for a couple or family to stat in ... was very surprised because I booked it the day before but extremely happy as soon as I walked thru the door !!!!!! Highly recommended
Great little town with a variety of restaurants and tons of hiking and outdoor activities like skiing and snowboarding...something for every outdoor-loving person who likes a change from the Portland/Coast climate!
Convenient to Timberline and Ski Bowl ski areas. Restaurants and shops and ski rentals. Shuttle stops to take you to timberline ski area scattered along main road. Not far from Mt Hood Meadows too but don't think there is any transportation to it other than your own car and chains required much of the time so rental cars are not an option. Easy drive from Portland.
This lovely town is the closest to the top of Mt. Hood (Timberline Ski Resort). It is the next best option for staying after Timberline itself if you are into skiing, and the best option if you also enjoy charming small towns. Best food: Mt. Hood Brewery! Fun activity: snowshoeing. Rent at Valian Ski Shop!
Beautiful hiking trails and wonderful scenery Understanding where to get the parking pass for the national forest was a little difficult so just a hint the museum was very helpful in getting us the information and pass. Best options would have been to get one on line prior to going
A visit to Timberline Lodge was worth it all! Fabulous views, interesting displays inside this historic hotel! Great to watch skiers from the deck in back - or to go skiing if that’s your thing. A hike to Mirror Lake was challenging for us seniors but well worth the effort. A drive to Trillium Lake was spectacular!
Parking is an issue on the main street as well as intersections get bogged down with people needing to turn left. Creates a big traffic jam. You can sit in traffic for 45 minutes to go 3 blocks. Mt hood outfitters was awesome and the staff helped a lot make our adventures fun. However they don’t make allowances for traffic issues which could be an issue if your party isn’t prompt.
