    I wouldn't consider Greenville a tourist destination; however, it is home to East Carolina University and there is a large medical facility in town that draws people from around the area. The area surrounding the university and Convention Center is well developed; the area surrounding the hospital is a little less desirable.

    We had just an overnight stay.My husband had to be at the hospital at 6:30am. After he was released we had a fun late breakfast at Dennys. We have also enjoyed the Angus Grill fr lunch times their food is very good.

    I had a daughter who received her Doctorate.

    I had a daughter who received her Doctorate. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event, but the hotel price per night was too high., gouging. I recommend to stay away from the hotels in town, an try VRBO or AirBnB

    Love Greenville. Adorable town, full of school spirit.

    Love Greenville. Adorable town, full of school spirit. The people are very friendly and it has a nice relaxed vibe. Every time we have visited our college student, there has been some sort of family-friendly celebration by the river on Sunday. Seems like a nice place to live.

    This trip was for a surprise birthday party!

    This trip was for a surprise birthday party! We were able to sightsee and visit several stores (adult) before leaving. We also visited a night club and the atmosphere was very nice! We enjoyed ourselves as well as the group we were with. Transportation was a breeze as we Ubered just about everywhere! However, we do plan to return and stay longer than we did this trip.

    I liked the area you could go less than 5 miles to get dinner and entertainment the parking lot was nice and clean.Staff was friendly and kind .We had dinner at Outback steak house on Friday Saturday we had dinner after the wedding we also had Sonic Sunday Cracker Barrel for brunch.
