The huge fireplaces and seating arrangement just inside the building. Also, great underground parking, wonderful during a rainy evening. Loved the bathroom lighting, plenty of hot water. Magnifying mirror in bathroom...I could go on and on.

Felt like at home with a special touch. Close to the water we were able to see beautiful sunsets from our bedroom. Breakfast was included and it was definitely worth it. Wonderful variety of healthy food for breakfast. And you also can find in the lobby soft drinks, water bottles. a nice selection of tea and snacks included ice creams for a small fee. The owner has a great sense of hospitality. She is wonderful We stayed an extra night and will definitely come back😊

We cannot say enough about how comfortable our stay was at the Nantucket Whale Inn. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, warm and inviting fireplace. Our room had a private entrance and was very private. A delicious breakfast was brought to our room in the morning. The staff very friendly and inviting. Thank you!

People above us was running a marathon in their room.

People above us was running a marathon in their room. Got up about midnight to use the restroom, and it was raining in the bathroom. Called front desk to complain about noise and the water leak. They brought buckets and informed us the building is old, and when people stomp around upstairs it leaks. This also explained the mildew smell. They asked upstairs to quiet down....and the leak did stop. They could not move us because they were full. Very miserable night.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails. You can walk or bike all the way from Ritz Carlton to the pier. Nice wide sandy beach for picknick. Wild flowers blooming all the years to attract your eyes. Little bit cooler temperatures, so best to bring blanket and jacket if you stay in the beach. There are nice eateries in the beach and downtown Halfmoon bay. I also enjoye to vist Halfmoon Bay nursries where has many nice blooms.

Lovely ocean view and I enjoyed staying so close to the marina, where I could observe the boats docked as well as on the water. Plenty of dining options nearby. Quiet, laid back and friendly atmosphere.

We've being going to Princeton Half Moon bay for years but this is the first time we stayed overnight. We go for the restaurants and walking the pier where the fishing boats are docked. You can buy their fresh catch right off the boat, including crabs. There is a fish market there that will clean and cut whatever you buy for a fee. We are a retired couple so this suits us but there are other activities, such as beaches, surfing, boating, hiking and fishing.

We had three nights in this lovely hotel, originally only one was booked but we extended for two more because the hotel was so nice. There is a couple of nice cafe's, bars and restaurants within walking distance and there is a small shopping mall attached to the hotel. One of us had a massage and, without exaggerating, it was the best massage ever experienced! The hotel seems a great size too with not too many rooms so it was never that busy or noisy.

Quaint, historic hotel. Great location for enjoying all that Half Moon Bay has to offer. The wifi was good and parking was easy - after 6pm you can park overnight on the street outside. The car needs to be moved by 9am and there are plenty of 12 hour bays available round the corner from the hotel. The beach is a short drive away.
