We loved staying at The Ruby!! It smelled and looked so clean as soon as you walk in, beautiful and cozy house!! It was very convenient and close to everything we needed. We will definitely be booking here again the next time we go to Abilene!

the host gave very clear instructions on location and entry to the home. the floorplan of the property is very cozy and the host decorated everything to be very comfortable and welcoming. Off street parking is allowed; pet friendly a huge plus; there is a giant fenced backyard for the pooch to roam. despite being an old house, everything technical worked wonderfully -- a full size washer and dryer in a room with proper venting; the HVAC worked well and sufficiently heated the home; the water was hot and very good water pressure.

The Texas waffles were a hit although there should really be a sign that says Fill up to line 3 for one waffle, prob save you some batter bc it's huge! My kids loved egg n saus n yogurt. I love kitchenettes in the room, just so useful for a small family like us. We also brought our dog and it was very easy to take him out to potty.
