The location is very convenient! There is a grocery store, station, and restaurants and cafes nearby! The room is just enough size for 2 of us, and the bed is super comfortable and had a nice sleep!

Don’t let first impressions deceive you; nestled between the older-ish building and the desolate location is one of Portland’s best kept secrets : A decent, clean and quiet motel that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg like all the other motels in town that for some reason has roach motels that cost the same price as corporate franchises you’ve come to expect a certain level of quality vs value. The Broadway Inn is significantly less per night than any of its counterparts in the area such as Eastside Lodge (boo 👎!) and the so unfittingly named “Executive Lodge” which is a roach motel that considers putting the comforter back into the bed with same sheets and most everything else as a proper maid cleaning. The Broadway Inn is family owned - and such a kind and friendly staff that are no more than simply practical and not taking advantage of weary travelers that may not know better. ***BONUS: a 4 minute walk to catch the latest Taylor Swift concert or if you are into big foam pointy fingers it also is a walk across the street to attend a Blazers NBA game at the MODA Center so you automatically save on parking because you’re a guest at the motel and don’t have to pay ball-game parking prices !
