The all day availability of snacks (apples, granola bars, muffins, etc) and beverages in the fridge (coffee, water, milk, etc) was a nice touch. The location on the lake had a fantastic view and tranquil setting.

We really were not there for Inlet.

We really were not there for Inlet. We were visiting friends up the road 15 minutes in Raquette Lake. Inlet does have places to eat and a nice town beach and part. Town is busy but not crazy-busy if you know what I mean. Seventh Lake House offered a very nice dinner, need reservations.

Inlet is a great little town.

Inlet is a great little town. It is not like Keene Valley with virtually nothing in it, and it is not like the metropolis of Lake Placid. It is really only two blocks. But it's got a great little outdoor bar where you can get clam rolls, pizza joint, a hamburger joint, and a couple of coffee shops. It's a good place to go if you are single and don't want to quite be alone. Inlet is an unusually nice little town for the Adirondacks.

Inlet is a wonderful small community in the Adirondacks.

Inlet is a wonderful small community in the Adirondacks. While we were there out of prime season lots of shops were closed. However, there are two great mountain trails within a half mile, Black Bear and Rocky. There is a park next door. In the summer a great ice cream shop. The bakery is wonderful. Screaming Eagle restaurant was good with lots of beer options amo g all sorts of other beverages. Great views. And, by all means bring you canoe, kayak and see the lake and channel to Fifth Lake. Biking south of Limekiln lake on dirt roads with your Mt bike is great however bring a map so you know where you are. Lastly, up the road a couple miles is a great golf course, Limekiln. If you're adventurous, take a sea plane ride at Payne seaplane again a couple miles to the east. Have fun!

Inlet is a great little town in the Adirondacks.

Inlet is a great little town in the Adirondacks. Blue Line coffee house has the best coffee, Lavender Lattes, and scones plus free wifi. The city park is a really well maintained and worth exploring. All the shops in Inlet were very nice and all a bit different. Inlet is about 15 mins from Old Forge. Inlet is NICER as it's more quaint and less touristy.

Everything you'd expect from the Adirondacks packed into this little town. Great breakfast at the Tamarack Cafe. For some fabulous chicken wings, go to the Screamin' Eagle. They also have great pizza and a huge selection of craft beer.

Inlet is a nice little village they have a great public park right on the lake plenty of seating and room to Moore your boat. Food is limited due to the store hours. The woods inn is overpriced. Park your car and take a look at the little stores but make sure it’s before 3pm
