I love Iola of Palms and have been going there for years. I don’t Isle of Palms resort sweet grass in was beautiful inside and very clean. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The biggest disappointment was that the ocean view was nonexistent. We could really only see the overcrowded pool. Tons of kids. The staff did get us checked in about two hours early which was very nice!

I loved the beach and the area with restaurants and shops. We stayed right on the beach and it was great. We took day trips to Folly Beach, Shem Creek and Downtown Charleston. It was only a 1/2 hr drive to each location. We rented bikes that were delivered to our hotel. I wish there were greenways to ride, because there was a lot of traffic and the kids had to ride on the road. I loved the area and will absolutely go back again.

Easy access to restaurants, shopping centers and the beach. Staff was excellent, very helpful!! But was very upset because the room DID NOT HAVE AN OCEAN VIEW, I really thought I was booking one with a view for the price we had to pay and by the pics on the booking site. Rooms smelled moldy, sheets had stains and at night it was very noisy up into the early morning hours.

Nice island, a few restaurants. We chose the wrong one, but then found 2 nice ones. Jon's subs was great in my pleasant, Near Bell's.. Not far from MT pleasant that had nice shopping and additional restaurants. Very nice.

The staff is awesome friendly and understanding of any complaints. Matt the manager very helpful. Looking at the beach and the convenient food choices within walking distance. Rooms smelled of mode mildew or both ( tried about 4rooms) Rooms very small, elevator stink, stairs dirty and no one come to clean until check out, so if your stay is 3 days for example you see the cleaning crew in 2day

Affordable, comfortable, great location.
Affordable, comfortable, great location. Local restaurants like Papi's and Acme were excellent. The Dinghy is across the street from where we stayed and had live music outside to enjoy and a full bar. We visited FT Moultrie and there is pier/dock there to fish off of and a picnic area. This is across the street from the cannon display behind the visitors' center. It normally costs to visit the fort but covid had closed down the inside areas; you can still park and walk around the outside displays and fort. Handicapped porta potties are in the parking lot behind the closed visitor center and has hand washing station. I will go back next year for sure and visit the local attractions a bit more.

Overall the villa was nice. The best part was its location. We were a five minute walk from the beach and a few more from restaurants and entertainment. Also the island connector was our street so going out to explore the greater Charleston area was a breeze.
