great location right on the water clean well equipped rooms with beach towels body board, fins etc available yo use at no cost *** Best of all property is run by 2 people who really care about their hosts . Michelle went above and beyond to take care of me and ensure that my stay was perfect. They really care about their guests. Treated better then at some 5 star resorts. I will be back.

LOVED the cold water machines next to the ice machines. This saved us SO much money!! Plus it was a really nice touch. The "key" bracelets are a stroke of genius - waterproof, wearable and difficult to lose - but the BIG plus is that we didn't have to deal with rude, bully parking attendants that we had read about from previous reviews! Mahalo!! The dining room staff were SO welcoming and offered wonderful service - Kudos to Marie, Lani and Mr. Omelette gentleman.

It is a perfect location.... steps to the beach and you can hear the sound of the ocean. The condo is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need. The beach chairs and toys are great. It was a great base for exploring the entire island. The hosts were so friendly and responsive. It was our favorite stay this trip

    As a Big Island resident, I think Kona is over rated and overpriced for what it is. I think it looks like a strip mine with some beaches. Ali'i drive shops has many vacancies. I think other parts of the island have more to offer in beauty, scenery and temperature which is why I don't live in Kona.

    We stayed a week in a house in area. Ate at Grill on beach drove to volcanoes, and Historic National Parks. Black sands beach was great as turtles swam by. Took Manta Rey night snorkel and day snorkels. Coffee tour was hot and humid but informative.

    We got in late and although it was a short drive from the airport, it was a bit hard to find. We stayed one night and then travelled to Hilo. After our friend’s wedding we returned for another night before departing from Kona Airport.

    The location was the best. Condo was spacious & clean.

    The location was the best. Condo was spacious & clean. Bed super comfy. The balcony was the best. One of the main reasons we chose it. Great ocean view. Sitting there listening to the waves was lovely. Close to lots of restaurants. Kona is very walkable but there's also a free bus that runs pretty often down Alli drive. Takes you to a couple of great beaches.

    Kailua-Kona has nice beach/ocean access along Ali'i Drive and there are a few good restaurants. Snorkeling was great due to the amount and variety of fish we saw. For us it was too expensive, too busy and traffic could be bad at times. We were super disappointed that we had to pay almost $30 for 2 hours of parking in one of the parking lots near to end of Ali'i' drive to have dinner out one night. All of the free street parking was full. $30...Outrageous! We might be done with all of Hawaii at this point due to crowding and costs.

    Sunset I stand atop the highlands of time, Watching the setting sun dye the sky gold. It is not a farewell, but a new departure— That brilliance is the edge of my life’s blade. Once I braved storms, dreams forged through sweat and tears; Now, with distilled wisdom, I march forth once more. Though silver streaks thread my hair and my steps may slow, The flame within still burns, undimmed and aglow! I greet the morning with a smile, Igniting hope in the evening glow with passion. It is not retreat but blooming anew, Bearing responsibility in a different view. Sunset is no symbol of decline— It is a golden medal Heaven bestows in kind.     Great accommodations at a great location. Although the building is a little dated, suite was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the quiet of a smaller resort and easy to enjoy both the regular and salt water pool with not many people. Minor problem with the faucet in kitchen but mgmt company was very responsive and had it replaced in a few hours. Walkable to town in 25 min, or catch the free trolley on the hour. Would stay here again.

    We were very disappointed in the poor state of this apartment it wasn’t anything like the advert. Lights didn’t work, doors were cracked and broken, decor was extremely dated and we were extremely misled by the advertising. I would not recommend booking through a 3rd party as any issues we had could not be resolved through the resort staff. We loved Kona but the accommodation was the worst we could have imagined.
