I just checked out, and I can’t stop thinking about this incredible property! Nestled in a quiet area of wine country, it’s the perfect escape from the more crowded spots. The front desk staff were so lovely and helpful, and the architecture made me feel like I was in a European retreat. The lush gardens, blooming roses, and the peaceful sound of water features throughout the property create an atmosphere of pure relaxation. They also offer spa services, and the pool area was a delight—complete with complimentary sunscreen and water refill stations throughout. Every detail was well thought out. The rooms are spotless and modern, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Utterly peaceful, elegant, unpretentious. The sense of relaxation comes over you the minute you enter. It made us want to visit Japan. The staff was lovely and welcoming. The amenities were thoughtful and the breakfast was different and delicious each day. We will go back.

It was charming and lovely with excellent and thoughtful small touches like battery operated candles throughout; candy dishes; a calming fountain, ample outdoor and indoor seating; uplifting sayings on pillows, etc. Karen (one of the owners along with her husband, I believe) is wonderful: helpful and caring!

Everything. We were here on our honeymoon and had the most wonderful couple of days at the ranch. It's a really special place and hard to put into words how wonderful it is. The building, the gardens, all the cute animals, the decor, the wine and food, the lovely staff... The whole place is dreamy. Thank you for a gorgeous stay.

It was spacious and very, very clean. Breakfast was awesome, the best I ever had at a hotel, and we liked that they upgraded our room to a a king Suite for free when they heard it was our honeymoon! We stayed at a lot of other places and they didn’t do anything special for us, so that was just really awesome 🥰They’re the best!!!

Location was perfect! Very walkable to downtown. Only 6 rooms on property. Nice large room. Would be perfect for a group of couples to stay. They have a shared area by the rooms with large table for congregating. Loved the warm pastries delivered to our door every morning

    Kenwood is a lovely place to stay, especially with Glen Ellen just a short 7-minute drive away, which is another great little town. Have drinks at the saloon there, breakfast at Pascals, pick up food at the Village Market, and dine at Glen Ellen Star, a Michelin-recommended restaurant. In Kenwood, there are plenty of wineries and VJB to discover and eat at, including a brewery that is all within walking distance. For a few days, this is a great part of Sonoma to discover. We visit Sonoma frequently and have been coming for over 10 years. This is one of our favorite places to stay, and we highly recommend it.

    My memories of this property from a prior stay were...

    My memories of this property from a prior stay were wonderful. However my recent visit was very disappointing. Service was lacking and the breakfast and cheese for the “wine and cheese” hour (NOTE the hotel told me that wine is not given to those who book on booking.com ) was bland and you had no choice for the hot entree. Also there were many limitations on what you could have from the menu. For example, you could not choose fruit and yogurt or coffee and juice. It said “pick one only”. If you asked for both they would only bring you one.

    The room was fabulous and view was beautiful. The grounds were a masterpiece with all the beautiful plants and flowers. The hospitality was over the top with the nice gift bag of wine and snacks, the free wine tasting and the delicious breakfast brought to our room. What I didn’t like…nothing!
