WE stayed away from down town.

WE stayed away from down town. I know a lot of people want to be in the crowd. but for us the quiet in the evening was great. The people we met were all very nice and welcoming, even giving us suggestions on places to eat that we might not have thought about because they were not on Duval St. We really enjoyed the trip to Sunset Key and dinner at Latitudes to watch the sunset. Harpoon Harries was great for brunch with several nice stores to visit while we were there.

Key West is beautiful, BUT at my age, drinking every single day and partying gets old. I was expecting better bands and entertaining. So make sure you have a nice group of friends with you. It can be romantic, but only for 3 days MAX.

Been visiting Key West for over 50 years boating, diving, and also at time just for leisure! There is SOO much history here and SOO much to see and do. Henry Flagler, Ernest Hemmingway, and Mel Fisher along with an uncountable number of other men made it possible for the rest of us to enjoy this deep-rooted treasure in Florida that's chalk full of wonder! Seeing the sunset at Mallory Square every single night is something I never miss!! Doing the Duvall Crawl is another exciting thing to do!

Loved the location. Just at the end of Duval Street, very close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Hotel is typical in style of property in Key West. We had a huge suite at the front of the property with a lovely balcony. The kitchen/lounge area was very large. It was very clean. Lots of cupboard space. 2 double beds quite close together so be aware if not close friends with travelling companions! Swimming pool at back of property. We managed to park outside the hotel which was a bonus too.

The hotel itself is in an ok location, but on a busy road during the day and you generally have to drive to get anywhere or any decent food. The room was clean and the hotel service staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small for a family of 5. Felt on top of each other. A lot of money for what you get when hotels down the road were cheaper and had a lot more to offer.

We stayed at a number of cheap motels etc on our road trip and this one was by far the best. Great location, short walk into the centre of Key West but being on the edge of town avoided car parking difficulties. The room was just as we expected and very clean and comfortable.
