The shower water temperature would NOT stay where it was set. It would go from scalding hot to ice cold every few seconds. It did not stay constant long enough to wash and rinse off. I told them at the front desk. They didn't fix it or offer a different room. The pool water was a milky white color.
There is great shopping and it is located near sporting arenas, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross House, Rocky steps, countless museums, Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown, and don't even get me started on the cheesesteak wars on whose is best (Gooie Looies or Jim's South St.)and Valley Forge.
The biiggest shock I got when checking in was there was a $100 extra fee that would be returned in three days if it was determined I did not damage anything in the room, This was not mentioned anywhere when I made the reservation. There was no hairdryer or coffee maker in the room and the refrig was barely cold enough to keep my insulin cold.
Terrible old hotel, with stains of sperm, other ppl hair, non functional restaurant( because when you wait 2 hrs it’s obviously not functioning). Very very old everything. Don’t get tricked by nice pictures. May be lobby was renovated, but the room and especially pool soo old. OMG pool pain is chipping off everywhere, as if it’s 300 year old house that hasn’t been used for the last 300 years
Shopper's paradise for sure. The KOP mall is the central attraction for the area. It's always amazing to me how such a place can attract actual tourists from other states to come and spend their money. Like Vegas if you will but on a shopping scale. Honorable mentions of Valley Forge Casino being a stone's throw from the Mall. There's everything one could possibly need within seconds to minutes' reach of each other. Don't overlook also the fact that Philadelphia and all of its attractions are only a short commute away.
The staff was very friendly and our dog was welcomed. The hotel was clean, offered many options, and was well tended to. Breakfast was a highlight. Our room was spacious and the kitchenette was well stocked for simple meal-prepping needs. The larger fridge was a great surprise. The hotel was a perfect commute spot for downtown Philadelphia and was ideal for us to be located near many national parks!
Friendly staff, good cleaning, spectacular breakfast, there is an omelette, hamburger, pancakes, banana, orange, apple, many things and I thought it was great!!! very complete!!! lIn the bedroom the tv moves to the bed or to the sofa! very cool, and i love the gym!!! It is complete and all new! I have pictures and there is still water in the exercise room, congratulations on having water so that we guests can train and have water. All gyms in hotels should have water either in bottles or in a fountain! You are to be congratulated
The planning of the suites are really thought out. Every comfort is available. Best night sleep I have ever had at a hotel. For the ladies...love the sink counter top so much room for hairdryer, curling iron, makeup etc!! Love that toilet separate from sink area! The couch was very comfy too! I was worried about cleanliness during Covid but the whole hotel was very clean! Shower head and water pressure great. Near shopping and fun activities!! Staff were very friendly accommodating. We will be back!! Great weekend with my hubs!!😁
Property was atleast quiet in my portion of the hotel. Had rooms not been sold out in the area (the last option) I would’ve never stayed here. It was for work and it served it’s purpose
King of Prussia
Good location for north Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Close to King of Prussia Mall and other shops. Bus stop right outside hotel to get into central Philly. Very nice breakfast.
Room was filthy. Smelled of cigarette smoke. There was drug use on parking lot. I actually checked out and had to pay for another hotel I moved to. Couldn’t even spend the night.
The location was perfect for us since we were visiting relatives in King of Prussia. In addition, the rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful when we needed some help.
good hotel, location, - near mall , small market , grocery shop - 5 min by car , friendly staff, room cleaning - on request - but easy to get provided
