If you're going for the biggest garage sale, bring a good pair of walking shoes, sun screen, cash, drinks to hydrate and prepare for some great deals. If you're going for Lake George it's beautiful take a lot of photos. However beware parking is not your friend, inquire about the shuttle buses they have instead of fighting for a parking spot each day you go. In any case enjoy, we did.

Very cool old school resort town - we were happy to be there in the fall and not in the summer season when it gets quite crowded. At at Mario's Italian Restaurant - great food, great service and value!

I have a strange bond with this lake.
I have a strange bond with this lake. I don't know why. used to live in upstate NY and have been here many times before. Since I was just a kid. Been to many other lakes but no bind with them. Maybe the history, Revolutionary war buff. I don't know.

The Lake George area is so beautiful.
The Lake George area is so beautiful. The landscape of the mountains and lake are breathtaking. Staying in Lake George Village is preferable since you can walk everywhere in the Village, all the shops and really good places to eat. My favorite thing to do at the end of the day is to just sit and look at the serenity of Lake George.

We were just passing through, so we didn’t consider it a destination stay. The people we encountered were very friendly and there seemed to be a lot of people getting on tour boats at the pier that evening.

I've been going to Lake George since I was a child and have brought my children to Lake George. We hadn't been back in 16 years, but finally had the opportunity to revisit it and it was wonderful for my daughter and I. We had many fond memories of Lake George and we made new ones now that we were able to go again. Lake George will always be our favorite place to go on vacation.

Hotel room exceeded my expectations considering I booked the value king room. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. The heated pool, cabana bar and fire pits were amazing. The private beach was also very nice but we didn’t have the weather to use it properly. The location is very convenient as the town is a very small walk away. There’s plenty of parking at the hotel.
