From the time we initially pulled up to the valet, everything was uphill from there. The valet attendants were all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Same for both bell captains, excellent! The front desk, the George, the location were ALL top-notch. Although that was our first time staying at the Durango, it certainly will not be our last time. In fact, we've already said we will be coming back next year for our annual Jazz Festival. We also shared our experience with several friends, and they will stay there as well. Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!

The property is accessible and not as populated as the ones in the strip. The mall was also a distance walk. I like how we were able to check in earlier. The ice refill station is just near. Their breakfast variety has been nothing but amazing. More protein or meat options next time, perhaps?

The entire staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. It smelled so clean as soon as you walked into the lobby. The entire place was really clean actually. The location was perfect because it was close enough to the strip, but not too close and there were shopping centers and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Nice place to travel but if you are looking for trips or tours, you would probably need a few more days than 3 or 4. I have been several times so when I go it is to fellowship with my travel mate, eat, do a little gambling and relax. Relax is what I do best.

LAS VEGAS HAS BECOME FAR TOO EXPENSIVE ESPECIALLY ON OR NEAR THE STRIP - YOU GET BETTER VALUE GOING INTO THE CITY OR OFF FREMONT STREET- JUST USE UBER IF YOU NEED TO SEE A SHOW ON STRIP. ALL THE RESORTS HAVE DECIDED TO FLEECE PEOPLE WHO JUST COME FOR THE WEEK-END TO ENJOY THE SIGHTS , SHOWS AND FOOD. BOTH GAMBLERS AND NONGAMBLERS ARE NOW CASH COWS FOR THE RESORTS!

We stayed 3 nights at the Park MGM, but found the Primrose Restaurant does not serve hash browns for breakfast, but instead mini unpeeled potatoes that we both said were the worst breakfast potatoes we've ever been served. Walked over to NY NY and ate in THE AMERICAN where the breakfast was affordable and they served great hash browns. - - - The best comment we can make about the Park MGM is it is smoke free as we no longer will tolerate the death of cigarette smoke in the air.

Vegas is filth dressed up in gold.

Vegas is filth dressed up in gold. It's a whorehouse with lights. It doesn’t pretend to be holy, it just hands you your demons in a cocktail glass and dares you to drink deep. There’s no place like it — not on this earth, maybe not in this universe. Vegas is its own dirty planet, spinning on sin, fueled by regret, and lit up by the lies people tell themselves at 3 in the morning when they’re broke and bleeding chips. Some bastards fall in love with it — headfirst, teeth first, soul first. Some call it hell with air conditioning. Some just come to watch the fire. And some never leave. But whatever Vegas does to you, it does it loud. It scrapes the rust off your guts and shows you what’s underneath — the beauty, the rot, the animal. You don’t come here to find yourself. You come here to get exposed.

    Great place.

Great place. Got married, gambled, drank, saw attractions such as Cirque shows, as well as Penn and Teller. Close proximity (walking distance, or taxi/uber/lyft) to everything. More pricey than most other places.. but It's Vegas baby.

    Vegas is fun.

Vegas is fun. I stayed on Fremont, and that is ALWAYS exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed the activities and dining on Fremont. There is never a dull moment. The numerous hotels make gambling an adventure. The live entertainment is great. I went to the local Walmart and purchased water, liquor, beer, and a pretty cup (no bottles or glass allowed on Fremont). That was extremely budget-friendly to have done.

We love everything of this hotel. This hotel is expensive but it is worth staying here. The room with a living room is big enough for three of us. Beds and pillows are big and very comfortable. The view of Las Vegas, look from the huge window inside the room is stunning. The bathroom is clean and large. Check in was fast and the front desk was very polite and vey helpful answering our questions. the hotel itself is beautiful with nice decoration. It is very easy walking from the hotel to any other places on Strip street.
