Lost World Caverns is a family-friendly natural history...

Lost World Caverns is a family-friendly natural history museum, gift shop, and cave adventure. It is near I-64 and open 363 days a year. The self-guided 45-minute cave tour has lots of steps on the well-lit cement walkway. The amazing formations of stalactites and stalagmites are not to be missed. Dinosaur bones were found inside, and there are museum-type exhibits of dino fossils and replicas, as well as a couple of playground dinos outside. The gift shop sells t-shirts, rocks and souvenirs. With a water wheel out front and picnic tables on the porch, this place offers a good break from the highway.

Great little town perfect for walking.

Great little town perfect for walking. Lots of restaurants and shops. Close to the Greenbriar. Would recommend the Draper restaurant at the Greenbrier for lunch. Open to the public and reasonable prices. Fried green tomatoes topped hamburger and the Draper chicken sandwich especially recommended Very nice tourism office right downtown

I was only there for two days to play golf. I did ride around to sightsee and very much enjoyed the history and views. Also appreciated the "Streets of Honor. ", honoring our war hero's.

Property is run down. Room was disgustingly filthy.

Property is run down. Room was disgustingly filthy. Obvious it is not ever properly cleaned. I saw two bugs in the first 5 minutes of being in the room, one was on the bed! Room smelled of old smoke. Floors were dirty. It up dirt and dust in the corners. Baseboards are growing hair. Bed linens smelled dirty and used. Windows let’s light from parking lot into room at all hours through the flimsy curtain. Towels were thin and scratchy. Parking lot safety was questionable.

Clean, bright lobby with areas to relax. The room was a good size with comfortable beds. There was a good breakfast selection and it was included in the price. The indoor pool looked good although I didn't have the opportunity to try it out. Lewisburg town is a 20 minute walk away and there are good bars and restaurants there (take a torch if you're doing the walk at night though).

Breakfast was fine, the staff was extremely friendly, but overall the hotel is not in great shape. There were bugs in the room, the bathroom was dirty, n the door wasn’t very secure.
