We spent six nights at Channel Road Inn with our small family. Location is awesome as the beach is just few blocks away, the neighbourhood is quiet and Santa Monica downtown is in walking distance. Breakfast was great and varying every morning. Best part of the stay was the STAFF, everyone was really really helpful and friendly.

Location was amazingly convenient to everything I wanted to do and see in LA. I swear, the bed and the linens have some magical property - had the best sleep of MY LIFE for each of the three nights that I was there. Easy parking, abundant snacks, and every possible thing that you might have forgotten within reach (including hydrogen peroxide in the bathroom, books to exchange or take, charging cables on both sides of the bed). An amazing and unexpected gem of a place that truly stands out in terms of uniqueness. The stay was part of the LA experience!

Milo and Beth were amazing hosts. They've built this little piece of heaven with old world charm. The hot tub was the best I've been in now others pale in comparison . They were available and easy to keep in touch with. The location was wonderful for our needs. The beds were comfortable as well as the conversations. Grocery store and restaurants in close proximity. Will definitely return! Such a beautiful property and all the amenities we needed!

The room was charming and well-appointed. The house was older but definitely well maintained and clean. (The kitchen and bathroom were cleaned twice in the 4 nights we stayed there). Despite the three bedrooms on first sharing a bathroom and kitchen, it felt very private. We didn't experience any logjams or waits for the bathroom (obviously this depends on your schedule). Our bedroom also had terrace access with a view of the backyard- definitely a lovely bonus. Great place for breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The location was excellent. Despite being located in a somewhat residential neighborhood, Hollywood Home is walkable to several plazas with daily amenities. Gelson's supermarket is about a 5 mins walk. Across the street is a small market selling artisanal foods, craft beers, and wine. There are also vegan/vegetarian options within the same area. The location is also right on top of Thai town with access to great restaurants as well as walkable or a short drive (less than 20 minutes) to N Cahuenga Blvd and Sunset Blvd for nightlife. * I recommend Heng Heng Chicken Rice- definitely worth the hype! There are also two bars a couple blocks from the bed and breakfast. La Poubelle was busy on Saturday night. We could also walk to hike to Griffith Observatory, Griffith Park, Hollywood Sign, and the Barnesdall Art Park. We were also able to take the subway (10 min walk) to Santa Monica Pier. Being from NYC, we were pleasantly surprised by how easily we could get around without a car. Given our lack of familiarity with LA neighborhoods, we were definitely glad we stumbled on this place last minute. Hollywood Home was a great place to stay for our LA trip. The property manager Nataya and other staff were kind, courteous, and proactive about making our stay comfortable. Thanks!

This is an ideal venue for the Rose Parade as it is on the bus route - something we didn't think about so booked car parking which was slow. This is a hotel that knows how to make you feel welcome in so many ways. They keep their pool open even when cold as well as their hot tub which I enjoyed twice. If breakfast ends, coffee is moved to a lovely lobby where you can drink as much as you like. We had a proper bath with great hot water, plenty of towels and room cleaning every day. The breakfast had plenty of variety including fresh apples. It was quiet at night - our room had one King bed across the car park from the breakfast room. We both slept solidly and my husband doesn't usually sleep well away from home. The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows.

A wonderful place with a warm atmosphere! I stayed here for 2 nights and was very pleased! The area is quiet and safe, which immediately creates a feeling of coziness and comfort. I would like to separately note the wonderful staff - the employees are very friendly, attentive and responsive. The rooms are clean, tidy, they clean and cook every day - special thanks for this! The shower is very clean, there is everything you need: towels, a bathrobe, nice little things - everything is provided. The atmosphere in the house is warm, calm in the evening. In the morning they treat you to breakfast - delicious, with care, like at home. In general, the whole staff gives the impression of a very friendly and caring team - this is a rarity now. You can feel that people really try to create the most comfortable conditions for guests. For such a price - just a great place! I will be happy to recommend it to friends and, perhaps, I will come back myself. Thank you for the wonderful welcome! ❤️

    A lovely studio nicely decorated and fully equipped. The fridge filled with lots of little intentions. A space to park our car, a washing machine and dryer available.. everything is there! Greeted by our host who kindly came to see us! Great location in a quiet and charming neighborhood not far from all LA activities. It was perfect! I recommend, and ready to stay there again!
