The castle at Skylands Manor is a highly unique experience which we love and we have been there twice now. It is much more like an Airbnb than a hotel and it has not been updated since it was built in approximately 1925 however that's part of what we love. The breakfast in the morning made by Billy is excellent. It's an expanded continental breakfast and it is served in the beautiful dining room. In the warm weather you can also sit out on the terrace. The property is an actual mini castle built by a family in 1925 to resemble something from medieval times. It is in the middle of Ringwood State Forest so the location is stunning. The only negative is you definitely have to drive to get to a restaurant or bar. We found a few within about a 15 minute drive. You might have a hard time booking this on the weekends because it is a very popular wedding destination. We have booked during the week both times we stayed there. It is about a 30 to 40 minute drive to the Bronx so it is an option for parents of Fordham students.

The location is peaceful, the property is immaculate, looks brand new. We had the downstairs room & it was beautifully decorated with all amenities one could want. The bed is so comfortable, the shower delightful! Breakfast was better than any restaurant brunch with such a beautiful presentation. Eva, the proprietor, was so communicative & accommodating before & when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Warwick area.

Villa Verde has beautifully presented rooms. Breakfast was exceptional. Eva is a lovely, friendly host.

This completely nonsmoking, Comfort Inn provides comfortable guestrooms featuring free Wi-Fi access and is located close to major highways and local attractions.

this place was super clean. the sheets were clean and smelled fresh. the towels and other toiletries were well placed. staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. breakfast was decent for complimentary continental and the food was neatly laid out and quickly replenished.

The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. This inn is located close to everything you want to see. It is only a few miles from both the wineries and the center of town. Located behind the Inn is a horse farm, which adds to the magnificent vista. It was a wonderful getaway.
