Manitou is a very charming tourist town. Inundated with adorable shops, ice cream parlors, and restaurants. It’s an eye-popping place; whimsical and colorful. Would recommend checking out the big indoor/outdoor arcade, Hell’s Kitchen Pizza, and if you can, go eat some of that raw chocolate. Pike’s Peak railway is not far, the ride up the mountain is fantastic. Check that out.
The town of Manitou Springs is a perfect mountain town. It has a lot of different stores, restaurants. The people are friendly and it's a dog friendly town. There is an arcade with all of the old time games (we're in our 50's). It has a beautiful park and creek. It's close to Garden of the Gods which is amazing. Also, Manitou Cliff Dwellings is not to be missed. I can't say enough great things about Manitou Springs. We have been there twice and we will keep going back.
I love the character of the surroundings in the town. Everyone was pleasant. I’ve visited the area at least five times and have visited all the activities, parks, and the zoo. The scenery is breathtaking in all seasons. Hoping to go again for a rodeo.
A great place to wander the shops. Visited all the natural springs (twice). Savellies restaurant is awesome as was Uncle Sammy’s breakfast. Also you must try 13 Trees coffee... the bomb!!!! ( stopping there first when I return in October).
I recommend two full days at Manitou Springs because there are many things to do and see...Hiking and taking photos at The Garden of the Gods and going to the visitors’ center. Walking around the site of Native American cliff dwellings and learning a lot at the visitors’ center, exploring Cave of the Winds, enjoying a Victorian tea at Miramonte Castle, driving up to Pike’s Peak - the inspiration for the song AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL, strolling around the fun town of Manitou Springs and stopping for ice cream, and on and on..... This a beautiful area to enjoy at your leisure.
It’s a great little town. There doing a lot of work on the riverbottom area so it’s kind of torn up and hard to get around. I wish there were more places to fish or more information on where to go fishing. But others then that it’s a great little town and we will visit again sometime soon.

Wow! The hotel was beautiful! The room was beautiful. The food was delicious. And, the staff was awesome. I wish I could remember the name of the valet who met us as we first drove in. Super nice guy. He helped us find our car later to get a couple of things. Front desk staff and the restaurant staff were also super nice. This was the last stop on a 29 day road trip my wife and I were taking. Glad we saved the best for last. The hotel staff really made us feel special. Thank you all so much!

Awesome! What a neat place! The hotel owners live on site and showed me to my room as soon as I arrived. It's kind of retro or something. The beds were very comfortable. There are a bunch of restaurants nearby as well and a great little park across the street. This is an older hotel that has obviously been completely refurbished. I really enjoyed our stay here and slept great at night.

The Eagle has been recently upgraded. Very clean...even smelled good. Walking distance to Manitou Springs. Close driving distance to Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods. We did not use it, but a shuttle service is available. Staff very friendly....great advice on places to eat, things to see and short cuts to get there. Would definitely stay at The Eagle again.

There were carports directly next to the rooms, and everything was very clean and tidy. Also, Manitou Springs is a great little town to explore, and almost everything is in walking distance from the hotel (which is quite nice, as there are not many parking spots downtown).
