Best Western Plus John Muir Inn is nestled in the redwoods in a peaceful, unique location. A free daily continental breakfast is provided to guests. Daniela at the front desk was one of the highlights of our stay, as well as the sweet breakfast attendant who I failed to get her name. Everything was top notch, pool was freezing but we understand it's April, we went in anyway! The shower head needed attention but we told the front desk and they addressed it immediately. We will be staying with you often since my mom is convalescing in Martinez. Looking forward to our next stay! Thanks!
This Martinez motel is a 20-minute drive from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. The motel offers an outdoor pool, 24-hour front desk and free on-site parking. For my second time visiting Muir Lodge, it was as good as my first. I love the rooms, the bathrooms are very nice. The first night my partner stole the blanket, however the second time I utilized the extra blanket provided and it was so warm and comfortable. Overrall a great place to stay.
Located off Interstate 80, this Martinez motel offers comfortably furnished rooms equipped with free Wi-Fi. It offers a daily continental breakfast and free guest parking. Inexpensive rate. Great location near restaurants and freeway. Rooms were clean and extremely quiet so we were able to rest comfortably.
Shorelight Inn is a waterfront bed and breakfast located in Benicia. Several restaurants and charming shops are available along Benicia’s main street just steps away. Free WiFi access is available. The location was great the room overlooking the bay was lovely large and bright with plenty of character .
I thought this City was nice given cost of living here is expensive! Also @ night people were walking while intoxicated on drugs. The pictures I took on the bed first picture is a dip and the second is a stain!
Considering the location and how the facility itself is kept, the $100 deposit at the Quality Inn that they make you pay is ridiculous. There is no way I will ever be back to this location. The rooms are small and look a lot like Motel 6.
Location is perfect for us. We have rental property in Martinez. The breakfast was great. The staff were all very helpful. Water for the shower was only warm - never heated up. No lined shower curtain consequently water all over the floor. Shower head leaked and again drenched the floor.
Martinez accommodation are limited. Hotels are out dated and smelly. The town smell. What it smells like I don't know. But don't worry 15 minutes away in any direction is restaurants and nice hotels
Martinez does have a nice historic downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. The old part of town is quaint and pleasant. Generally though, it is not a tourist town as it is mostly a county government seat with an oil refinery on the outskirts. However, for a short stay over, the downtown is something to see. For traditionally-minded Catholics, it has a small church (Blessed Sacrament Church) with the most authentic pre-Vatican II Catholic liturgy in the Bay Area. The church is located just next to the County Center. Well worth a visit!
Nice. Coffee was weak. Housekeeping kept knocking even though I had arranged a late check out and had a "do not disturb". I kept telling them of my late checkout and, The third time they came into the room when I was in the bath.
