CanadaWe stayed three nights in January. The Peabody certainly lives up to its billing as ‘the Grand Hotel of the South’ with a luxurious lobby and regal hotel rooms. The service is extraordinary. Honestly, the staff are always smiling and can’t do enough. Each evening they actually knock at your door offering you chocolates, extra toiletries and extra bottled water (all with a duck motif, of course).
The duck parade at 11am and 5pm is a must. Don’t wait until the last minute if you want a prime viewing spot though as it crowds up fast. Our room was spacious and the bed was VERY comfy. We especially appreciated the built-in individual reading lights. The hotel offers free coffee and tea downstairs each morning. The location is great, 2 blocks from Beale and across the street from the ballpark. I can’t imagine going to Memphis and staying anywhere else

Loved the resort style pool too. The restaurant was outstanding on main level and rooftop bar was special. Great location.

The night lights and entertainment was great. Memphis is old but there is so much to do. I went to Beale st. The atmosphere was amazing. Music and entertainment. Street vendors and crowds of people enjoying life and having fun in the street. I visited The Amuse Museum and had a great time. I did not like how some people were driving extremely fast and even running red lights.
