The hotel is to close to the main road. I could here the hot rod type of traffic and big 18 wheelers when they used the air brakes which woke me up. The only thing that bothered me was the breakfast was lacking. The juices and coffee were fine and they had cereals to eat and waffles to make. The muffins and some kind of breakfast burrito was terrible. There should be hot eggs, gravel and biscuits. But the front desk was very nice. The room was fine. The noise from the main road may be just bad luck for me. overall it was fine for the money.
The people of Mountain Home, Ar are definitely interested and amazing to see me and my family have a blessed blast of a time with everything there, such as food, Walmart for trout fishing supplies, and the people who live there.
Hotel is not where GOOGLE directions say it is! We went round and round, finally called hotel who said it's right by Burger King. Mountain Home is lovely and has some nice thrift shops if you like that sort of thing. Also lots of different places to eat, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell, SEVERAL nice diners, that was great. Yes and a Walmart! Lots of lakes nearby, if you are a nature lover and like to walk on trails in the woods, it's great. Beautiful countryside to enjoy.
This place is a dump. Smelled so bad of disinfectant you couldn't breath. People partying in the parking lot and very shady clientele. We left and stayed somewhere else. We couldn't even stay one night in this hole.
I use to live in Flipping. Visiting and noticing the growth of MTN. Home was nice. The irritating part is that everything is closed on SATURDAY and Sunday so if a traveler has issues like car trouble their are NO options available.
Be certain to fill you fuel prior to getting there, the gas prices are 8 to 12 cents a gallon higher than Rogers area and a little higher than the surrounding cities prices. The views are beautiful and the people I met were very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend visiting and eating at the local cafe.
The pool floor was coming up. If you were to step on it wrong who knew what it could do to the bottom of your feet. The housekeepers were not that friendly either. They didn’t do breakfast because of COVID, but they did have a good option of food to take back to your room so that was great. We got the best option of room and the pictures were misleading, it was clean, but soooo small. It was honestly hard to walk around it with 2 people in there. It wasn’t bad, but not worth $120 since it was small and the pool was literally coming apart.
Given the location and having stayed in a different hotel from a previous visit; this hotel by far is the best around this area. The front desk staff who checked us in was the most outgoing friendly person we've encountered. There was no elevator and had to take 1 flight up to second floor to access our rooms. The room was clean, bed comfortable and no disruptions with WiFi. Good selections for breakfast and good coffee.
Mountain Home
The hosts were amazing! The house was so awesome. It was decorated so nicely. It was the best place to stay for the 4th of July. You don’t have to want for anything.
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. i have stayed in three hotels in the area and this hotel was by far the best one on cleanliness, comfort and breakfast.
